CCST is the most established college of Cranio-Sacral Therapy in Europe - currently in its 35th year. This is reflected in the experience of the tutor team, the well established support structure for the students – including a Teaching Clinic, regular Study Groups, Tutorials – and a wide network of previous graduates throughout the UK and in many other countries. The approach to Cranio-Sacral Ther

apy at CCST is Integrated Cranio-Sacral Therapy. Within the field of Cranio-Sacral Therapy there are different approaches, ranging from those which work primarily with the inherent healing forces of nature (sometimes described as biodynamic and seen as being more abstract) to those which are more orientated to the application of techniques (sometimes described as biomechanical and seen as being more grounded in basic sciences). CCST is distinctive in that it integrates all of these concepts to provide a comprehensive professional training with a broad approach that can respond more effectively to each patient according to his or her needs. The course is fundamentally biodynamic in nature, and also incorporates a wide spectrum of resources in order to expand the practitioner’s perspective, enhance therapeutic effectiveness, and enable most effective clinical practice, as well as providing a firm grounding in knowledge and clinical experience. The founder and principal Thomas Attlee DO RCST was the first teacher of Cranio-Sacral Therapy in the UK and is the author of the foundation volume “Cranio-Sacral Integration”. The college is accredited by the Cranio-Sacral Therapy Association. Graduates are eligible to use the letters RCST after their names. Approximately half the Registered Cranio-Sacral Therapists in the UK are graduates of CCST. The College offers a variety of trainings to suit different needs:

Cranio-Sacral Therapy:
1-year Diploma Course.
2-year Diploma Course - Weekend Format. Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology:
A certificated pre-Diploma foundation course

Post Graduate courses:
A variety of Post-Graduate trainings is available

There is also a clinic at the Centre for Cranio-Sacral Therapy in Primrose Hill, London NW1 8XE, offering a wide range of alternative therapies, and including a Low Cost Teaching Clinic, with treatments from £15. http://on.fb.me/1C4nwPD

“I want to share that this is my favorite class I have ever taken. I absolutely love it”

As an integral part of our CCST curriculum, Distant Cranio-Sacral Integration is particularly helpful for treating babies and children, for those who are house-bound or who have limited mobility and are unable to visit a clinic, for accidents, illness or trauma while abroad without direct access to a therapist, for supporting patients between hands-on sessions, etc. It’s a very valuable resource at any time in day-to-day practice.

We also find that the insights gained from working with Distant CST provide very valuable changes in perception and transformative skills which enhance direct hands-on CST, enabling therapists to engage more profoundly and more effectively.

The course is Open to all Cranio-Sacral Therapists and Cranial Osteopaths and will take place over 5 Tuesday evenings over 5 weeks starting Tuesday September 29 from 6:00 pm - 8:00pm (UK Time).

To find out more visit: www.ccst.co.uk/distant-cranio-sacral-therapy/ or to book your place email: [email protected] ❤️

CCST tutor, Priya Saggar shares, “My journey into holistic healing began early, inspired by my mother and her love of holistic therapies.

After years in business management and marketing, I realised I was being called towards something more meaningful.

I initially trained in Reflexology, fascinated by how working with the feet brings profound balance, relief, and deep relaxation. It was a healing modality I had trusted and used since my youth, providing the perfect foundation for my path.

As my practice evolved toward treating the whole person, I trained in Cranio-Sacral Therapy - another modality that had supported me since my younger years. This gentle, transformative practice changed my life and guided me through major transitions.

Today, I feel privileged to share this work with my clients and students at CCST.

My intention is to create a safe, loving space where my clients can reconnect with their inner wisdom, speak their truth, and embody their most authentic selves.

Beyond my work, I find joy in mantra chanting, kirtans, singing, dancing, swimming, and connecting with nature.

I practise every Thursday at the Centre for Cranio-Sacral Therapy in Primrose Hill, offering Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Reflexology, or a combination of both.”

Fascia is far more than connective tissue. It is a living, responsive matrix that supports movement, adaptation, protection, and communication throughout the body. Within this remarkable network, we often encounter the stories of injury, compensation, shock, birth patterns and resilience.

We are delighted to be bringing our Integrated Biodynamic Cranio-Sacral Therapy postgraduate Fascial Unwinding training to Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Over two immersive weekends, we will explore how gentle, skilled engagement with the fascial system can support the release of longstanding restrictions while remaining grounded in biodynamic principles and therapeutic presence.

🌿 Part 1 – Arms & Legs
📅 21–22 November 2026

🌿 Part 2 – Neck, Trunk & Viscera (Part 1 needs to be attended to participate in Part 2)
📅 13–14 March 2027

These courses are open to practitioners from a wide range of therapeutic backgrounds, including craniosacral therapists, osteopaths, physiotherapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, psychotherapists, and many others.

Whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding of fascia, expand your clinical skills, or integrate Fascial Unwinding into your existing practice, these weekends offer a practical, experiential, and profoundly supportive learning environment.

We look forward to welcoming both local and international practitioners to Slovenia.

“What’s wrong with my body?”

It’s one of the questions we hear most often.
And sometimes, it’s not the most helpful place to begin.

What if we became curious instead?
✨ What has my body been adapting to?
✨ What has it been carrying?
✨ What has helped me survive until now?

In Cranio-sacral Therapy, we don’t approach the body as something that is broken or needs fixing.
We meet it with the understanding that many of the patterns we experience—whether they show up as tension, pain, overwhelm, fatigue, holding, or even numbness—may once have been intelligent adaptations.

The nervous system is constantly responding to our experiences. Sometimes those adaptations continue long after the original challenge has passed, simply because the body hasn’t yet found enough safety, support, or opportunity to reorganise. Cranio-sacral therapy can help us find that internal support and path to inherent health.

CCST provides the opportunity to train as a professional Cranio-Sacral Therapist with the most established college of Cranio-Sacral Therapy, leading the field with over 40 years experience of training Cranio-Sacral Therapists in the UK and internationally.

For 40 years, the College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CCST) has been at the forefront of cranio-sacral education, helping to shape the field and training thousands of practitioners worldwide.

Since its founding in 1986, CCST has been committed to an approach that is both deeply grounded and profoundly transformative. Our training integrates anatomy, physiology and pathology with trauma awareness, emotional integration, fascial work, practitioner presence, and an understanding of the body’s inherent capacity for healing.

What makes the CCST approach unique is its commitment to seeing the whole person. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, we learn to listen to the wider story held within the body — the effects of stress, injury, life experiences, trauma, resilience, and health. Students are supported not only in developing clinical skills, but also in cultivating the therapeutic presence that lies at the heart of effective practice.

For many, the training becomes much more than a professional qualification. It is a journey of personal growth, self-discovery, and connection within a supportive learning community.

If you’ve been curious about Cranio-Sacral Therapy and would like to experience this work for yourself, we warmly invite you to join us at one of our upcoming London events:

✨ Introductory Day

In Craniosacral Therapy, our hands become listeners— tuning into the body’s natural rhythms, its subtle tides and pulsations. This is not about imposing something from the outside, but about creating a safe space where the body’s innate healing intelligence can emerge. Our touch becomes a bridge — where our electromagnetic fields attune, nervous systems co-regulate, and something shifts at a level deeper than words.
We’re inviting the whole system back to a place of coherence, safety, and trust. This is why healing with the hands is so profoundly human — it reminds us that true healing is never just physical; it’s energetic, emotional, and relational.”

QuantumBiomechanics® shares:
“Fascia forms a continuous, uninterrupted three-dimensional matrix running from skin to muscle to bone to organ. Nothing in your body exists outside of it.

Research published in 2025 formally classified fascia as a multiscale organ system with four distinct anatomical components.

Beyond structure, fascia is one of your body’s densest sensory organs, packed with mechanoreceptors and nociceptors that govern proprioception, body awareness, and movement control.

It regulates fluid transport through a hyaluronic acid-rich layer that allows tissues to glide, absorb shock, and exchange fluids efficiently.

And through tensegrity, it distributes mechanical strain and elastic energy across multiple joints simultaneously, meaning tension anywhere reorganizes the entire network.

Every major system in your body operates within fascial planes. The nervous system, immune system, circulatory system, and lymphatic system all depend on fascial mobility to function. “

✨We are delighted to be bringing our Integrated Biodynamic Cranio-Sacral Therapy postgraduate Fascial Unwinding training to Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Over two immersive weekends, we will explore how gentle, skilled engagement with the fascial system can support the release of longstanding restrictions while remaining grounded in biodynamic principles and therapeutic presence.
