One of my favourite things to make for my customers is soup in the trusty soup maker.
Bee loves soup and last year we bought a soup maker easy,quick and nutritious put anything you fancy in with some stock 20mins later hot smooth gorgeous soup.
Bee doesn’t like waste and after a family party she had loads of celery left of course I made celery,potato and walnut soup, some went in the freezer and the rest was for tea during the week.
Recipe was easy
Celery
Leek
2 potatoes
Veg stock
Crushed walnuts
Seasoning.
I’ve even made soup with Sunday roast leftovers including the roast potatoes.
If you or your customers love soup think about getting a soup maker I would highly recommend them and it’s great for when customers need something quick and healthy.
Part of my job is to make sure my customers are getting good healthy food regularly and batch cooking is a great way of doing this

Watermark in Ivybridge

I had been to the library in the Watermark previously as part of my job for GoodLifeSorted where I left a poster and some flyers but there is so much more happening in the building including a cinema,room hire,clubs,classes,live music and comedy shows and a gallery.
I visited the cafe inside there on a very busy Wednesday morning with a lot of the older generation enjoying chat and cuppa.
It’s was packed every table full.
I left our poster and put flyers on all the tables for people to read.
They also run a Memory Cafe every other Wednesday 2-4 with entertainment and talk so I plan to contact the person who runs it and hopefully I can do a talk to showcase what we do at Good Life Sorted in the future.

I had the pleasure of visiting
Access Plymouth after I emailed them about and what our services provide, they invited me down and were so welcoming and helpful,
Access Plymouth run a few service for the elderly and disabled.
Based in Mayflower East car park in Plymouth City Center , they run
Dial a ride
Community Car service
Shopmobilty
Open Mon to Fri 9..15 to 4pm.
They also sell various walking aids and wheelchairs plus they have a lovely cafe.
They were more than happy to display my Good Life Sorted poster and flyers for their customers.

I know i post a lot about my lovely customer Bee who is 91 but she truely is an inspiration, even though Bee finds everyday tasks hard she is a super organiser aka "the list lady" for the past 35 years herself and her amazing group of volunteers having been raising funds for their charity The Rainbow Project Plymouth supporting Romania and Ukraine through various sales through out the year a;; run from Bees home.
Bees home looks like an an Aladdins cave every room,space,gargage and loft is always full,she is well known for the charity and people constantly drop stuff of to her.
Over the years they have collected anything that has been donated to the charity from bric a brac,clothes,books pretty much anything that will raise money all which needed sorting ready for the sales some which are held at Bees home and in different locations in Plymouth.
They even make and sell hot food,cakes and drinks raising a lot of money everytime.
This year it was decided it was time to step back and close the charity as most of the volunteers were 70 and above years old.
Bee told me that over the years they had raised over half a million pounds and had sent out other vital supplies to help families even raising money to help rebuild homes and essential work to aid people.
Of course Bee went out with a big party to celebrate all their hard work and dedication,but she plans to meet up with the volunteers regularly and ive even set her up with a whattsap group to stay in touch.
You are all AMAZING and im very happy to had been a part of your acheivements i even helped out at some of the sales and a lot of my other customers donated items.

Door to door minibus service with Plymouth city boundary Monday to Friday plus they also run day trips to various picturesque places like Paignton,Torquay,Looe plus many more,places are limited and first come first served basis with great affordable prices.
You will need to register over the phone up to 7 days prior to first trip.
Wheelchairs welcome.
Cares welcome.
Come along have fun and make new friends.
They also offer a email service to let you know of all day trips that are available.

Bee always keeps me busy
I wanted to show what my job entails,always a list as Bee loves writing them
Today I did
Washing.
Changed bed.
Hung washing out .
Emptied recycling and bin.
Cooked lunch and of course a pudding with a cuppa.
Sorted this weeks menu.
Updated freezer items.
Everyday at Bees is different u also bake,clean test her smoke alarms.
Emails and phone calls .
Plus whatever else needs doing.
I see Bee 3times a week and love going to her my job well worth it.@
