You may not be “just anxious.”
Sometimes, what looks like anxiety may actually be a high-pressure internal pattern.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we sometimes see patients with a strong, driven energy pattern — constantly pushing forward, thinking ahead, and struggling to fully switch off.
From a TCM perspective, this can resemble what some practitioners describe as a “Qi Sha” type pattern.
And interestingly…it can look very similar to anxiety.
Overthinking. Tension. Poor sleep. Constant mental activity.
So what’s the difference? 👇
─────────────────────
🟢 High-Drive Pattern
→ Highly driven and action-oriented
→ Thrives under pressure
→ Finds it difficult to slow dow→ Tension comes from constant internal drive
🟡 Anxiety Pattern
→ Overthinking and hesitation
→ Fear-based stress responses
→ Mental loops and avoidance
→ Tension comes from persistent worry
─────────────────────
One keeps pushing forward.
One feels mentally stuck.
Both are real.
Both deserve support.
But the underlying patterns may be very different.
At Dapeng Clinic, we look beyond symptoms alone — exploring how stress patterns may be affecting the body, nervous system, and overall wellbeing.
