Facebook Colleagues

Well today is officially my last day at the University of Brighton. 10 years ago, when I started this role, I was yet to complete my doctorate, and I was still married, with a baby and living in London.

So much has changed in this time, both personally, and especially given today, professionally. My professional world has taken me to places and given me a platform which I could never have imagined, and being at Brighton played a huge part in this ongoing success. It has not always been easy though and given the changes Brighton and the whole sector has gone through, I wonder for the future not just of my university but of many others around the country.

I am though moving onwards knowing that I still have a lot of work to do. There are books to complete and to write, I have papers to tidy up and interviews to do for trade magazines.

So, finally, thank you, Brighton, for all you have given me, and good luck to you.
