🌿 Meet the Maker: Lady Fox Kent
Long before she became known as Lady Fox Kent — Earth Worths’ No.1 Countryside Forager — there was already a rather impressive clue that she was destined to be a character worth knowing…
Back in 1999, while working as a Data Clerk for BP’s Travel Trade Account Group, Jo was awarded the BP Personality of the Year award. 🏆

The February 2000 edition of The BP Bugle described her as winning for her “consistent cheerfulness and enthusiasm”, following in the footsteps of previous BP “Personality” winners. And, as the newsletter rather sweetly records, the award came as a complete surprise to her.

Fast-forward a few decades and that same enthusiasm for people, places and the countryside has found a rather different outlet.

Today, Lady Fox Kent is the creative force behind Earth Worths, bringing together a love of the British countryside, foraging, making and a healthy appreciation for the stories hidden in ordinary things.

So before the foraging… before the making… before the legend… there was Personality of the Year. 😂🌿

Some things, it seems, were always meant to be.

Lady Fox Kent’s No.1 Countryside Forager has been out filming over the last few months with Nosey Man Productions, creating a brand-new foraging documentary for the Folkestone Film Festival! 🎥🍄🌱

Nosey Man Productions are previous film festival winners, and this year’s entry is titled “Go Forage Yourself” — a celebration of foraging, the countryside and everything wild and wonderful on our doorstep.

📅 Screening: Saturday 24th October 2026
