🌳🚲 LONDON CYCLING FESTIVAL – ENFIELD

We’re excited to be part of the London Cycling Festival at Broomfield Park!

As well as joining the community bike ride, helping to marshal the ride and running our London Cycling Club (LBK) stall, we’ll also be organising a special FREE Heritage Walk from Broomfield Park to Grovelands Park and back.

🎨 We’re delighted that Art Historian Dr Güler İnce will lead the walk, sharing fascinating stories about the history and heritage of these two beautiful Enfield parks.

📅 Sunday 20 September 2026
🕚 Heritage Walk starts: 11:00am
📍 Meeting point: Broomfield Park, Aldermans Hill Entrance, N14 4HE
🚶 Route: Broomfield Park → Grovelands Park → Broomfield Park
📏 Approx. 6.5 km / 4 miles
⏱️ Around 2–2.5 hours
🎟️ FREE – everyone welcome!

Along the way, we’ll explore Broomfield House, the historic ponds, Conservatory and Remembrance Garden, before heading to Grovelands Park to discover its lake, landscape and local heritage.

It will be a relaxed and friendly walk bringing together local history, nature, wellbeing and active travel.

The wider festival runs from 10am–2pm, with cycling, Dr Bike, Smoothie Bike, kids’ bikes and ramps, dance sessions, bike security marking and lots more.

Our Summer Holiday Learn to Ride Sessions have come to an end 🌞🚲

What a fantastic four days! It was amazing to see so many children grow in confidence, learn a lifelong skill, and leave with big smiles on their faces. 💚

A huge well done to all our young riders, and a special thank you to our wonderful instructor Anisah for making every session fun, supportive and encouraging.

💛 Here’s what Lara’s mum had to say:

“Thank you so much for an amazing four days! We really enjoyed every session. My little girl has grown so much in confidence, and she’s absolutely thrilled that she can now ride a bike. We couldn’t be happier…thank you for all your patience and encouragement!” 🚲

Pedalını Doğaya Çevir sürüşümüzü bugün harika bir şekilde tamamladık 🌳🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

Muhteşem bir havada, bol sohbetli ve keyifli bir rotada birlikte pedalladık. Epping Ormanı’na çıkarken bizi karşılayan o zalım yokuş çoğumuzu biraz zorladı… ee belki bir kısmını yürüyerek çıkmış olabiliriz 😅ama önemli olan kimse pes etmedi. Birbirimizi motive ederek, bekleyerek ve destekleyerek ekip ruhuyla sürüşümüzü başarıyla tamamladık💪🚴

🚴 FREE Summer Holiday Learn to Ride Course for Children

We’re offering FREE cycling sessions for children aged 6–13 years during the summer holidays. These sessions are designed for beginners only and will take place on the basketball court in Pymmes Park.

🗓️ 4-Day Course

🚲 Monday, 3 August
🚲 Tuesday, 4 August
🚲 Thursday, 6 August
🚲 Friday, 7 August

⏰ 9:00am – 11:00am
Each child will be allocated one 1-hour session within this time.

📍 Meeting Location
Pymmes Park Bike Library
Sweet Briar Walk, Edmonton, N18 1RP
(Next to the tennis courts)

✅ Bikes and helmets are provided free of charge.

🚴‍♀️🌿 Today we completed our Rust Remover Ride!

We enjoyed a fantastic Sunday morning cycling together along the canal, catching up with friends, taking in the beautiful scenery, and finishing the ride with a well-earned break.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for bringing such great energy, smiles, and wonderful company. We look forward to seeing you on our next social ride! 💚🚲

Our founder & director, Ozgur, has been selected for the London Growth & Resilience Programme, led by the School for Social Entrepreneurs and supported by City Bridge Foundation.
