Se18 I believe in the power of therapeutic touch and subtle healing modalities as a means of reaching people who are often marginalized and disengaged .

Many people are living increasingly busy lives, bombarded with environmental stimuli and are too mentally distracted and physically exhausted to realise the effects of our individual life choices on ourselves our wider communities and our most vulnerable. Mental health issues are on the increase in developed countries and there continue to be serious health inequalities in disadvantaged groups and those living on the fringes of society. Sensoma aims to provide opportunities for people from all walks of life to experience a range of healing modalities in a safe space. When touch is used with the intention to heal, connect and communicate positive regard to the receiver, powerful changes can occur on the spiritual , mental , emotional and physical planes. When theses changes occur within individuals the natural state of expansion and increase in energy and vitality achieved becomes obvious and others seek this experience. Sensoma in essence is offering access to healing through the somatic and higher senses to those who are in need and open to such experiences.

This young lady puts in the work , maintains her fitness , strength and mobility training . A black belt in taekwondo and a winner of numerous championship belts . It takes discipline and commitment to get the results you want . An occasional thai massage thrown in is the icing on the cake ! 😜

HEALING , what is it ? it means different things to different people and as humans we are meaning making creatures . The root meaning of the world heal comes from hǣlan which means to make whole . As Therapists healers practitioners shamans , whatever we call ourselves in the healing community we DO NOT HEAL another person . We hold space for ourselves and others to remember and remove any obstacles to our natural whole state of BEING that is beyond the physical or psycho emotional .
