At our Annual Awards Ceremony last month, we had the pleasure of speaking with three members who have recently completed Pharmaceutical Medicine Specialty Training (PMST).

PMST is a four-year programme offered exclusively by FPM, leading to the award of a Certificate of Completion of Training in pharmaceutical medicine, following which a recommendation is made to the General Medical Council that the trainee is eligible to apply for entry onto the Specialist Register.

In this short video, Jaya Chidambaram, Gemma Williams, and Michelle Redelinghuys reflect on their experiences of the programme.

Today is International - an opportunity to not only reflect on the history of research, but also to consider its AI-enabled future.

In their thoughtful new blog, Dr Emma Dean MFPM and Dr Harjeet Dhillon FFPM highlight how AI is transforming clinical research. They outline its growing role in improving clinical trial efficiency and decision making, and where it will and can go in the future. They also bring to life the regulatory, ethical, and data governance challenges associated with this transformation.
