The women whose skin consistently looks good at every age aren't the ones who waited until something bothered them enough to do something about it.

They started earlier, they were consistent, and they made considered investments rather than reactive ones.

Preventative aesthetics isn't about doing more - it's about doing the right things at the right time, before the changes that are harder to address have had a chance to set in.

After years in this industry and spending my own money on my own face, this is the list of treatments I'd actually stand behind ➡️

Struggling with uneven skin tone that just won’t shift, no matter what you try?

Whether it’s post-inflammatory marks, sun damage, or general patchiness, pigmentation can be one of the most frustrating skin concerns to tackle. But there are treatments that work, and they don’t involve layering on makeup every day.

Here are three of my go-to treatments in clinic for helping even out skin tone and bring back that glow:

1️⃣ A medical-grade skin peel - Think of this as your reset button. It helps to gently resurface the skin, lift stubborn pigmentation, and kickstart your skin’s natural regeneration process. Paired with a simple, consistent home routine? The results are seriously worth it.

2️⃣ Microneedling with a boost - We take traditional microneedling and supercharge it by adding in ingredients like exosomes or polynucleotides. This combination encourages fibroblast activity (which means stronger skin and better pigment control) while improving skin texture and tone from the inside out.

3️⃣ Injectable polynucleotides - These are like next-level skin food. They’re packed with antioxidants and work to support your skin’s natural repair mechanisms. By stimulating collagen and elastin, they help fade pigmentation and improve overall skin quality and resilience over time.

September is too late to start thinking about your skin. By the time summer's over, the damage is already done. More pigmentation, depleted hydration, a complexion that looks dull and tired despite the fact that you've just had a break.

I see it every autumn in clinic without fail, and almost every time it could have been avoided.

The warmer months are one of the hardest seasons for skin. UV exposure, heat, air conditioning, more alcohol, less sleep and a skincare routine that slips when life gets busier. It all adds up faster than people expect.

So here's exactly what I'd be doing to protect and support your skin this summer, from SPF to treatments to the lifestyle factors that show up on your face whether you notice them or not 👉🏼

In your 40s and wondering why your skin suddenly feels different?.

From subtle volume loss in the mid-face and temples, to increased dryness, sensitivity, and more noticeable pigmentation, your 40s can bring a whole new set of skin challenges. But that doesn’t mean you’re out of options.

This is often the decade where we need to level up - switching to active, medical-grade skincare, supporting collagen with bio-stimulators like polynucleotides, and fine-tuning your skin barrier with professional guidance.

What worked in your 20s won’t always serve you now, and that’s not a bad thing. It’s an opportunity to rethink your routine and take a more tailored, supportive approach to skin ageing.

Most people assume a consultation is where you get told what you can have. In reality, it should be where you understand what you should have, and sometimes that’s not the same thing.

I see it often - treatments being agreed to too quickly, conversations that stay surface-level, decisions made without really looking at the bigger picture. It’s not always intentional, but it does leave people with results that don’t quite feel right.

I’d much rather be clear from the start, even if it means saying something you weren’t expecting to hear. It saves a lot of frustration later and leads to far better outcomes.

Here are five things you don’t always hear in aesthetics, but should be spoken about more ➡️

This is what 10 weeks looks like when you actually address what’s driving the skin, not just what you can see on the surface 💪🏼

We stripped things back, built a personalised plan around the inflammation and breakouts, and focused on consistency. Supporting the skin barrier, calming the reactivity and letting the skin do what it’s designed to do when it’s not being pushed too hard.

That’s why this kind of result happens. Not overnight, not from one product, but from a plan that makes sense for that individual's skin and is followed properly.

If your skin feels reactive, inflamed, or like nothing is really working, it’s usually a sign the approach needs adjusting, not that your skin is the problem.

If your skin looks dull, uneven or older than you feel, and skincare alone isn't shifting it, there's a good chance sun damage is playing a bigger role than you realise.

Most people don't connect the dots between years of UV exposure and what they're seeing in the mirror now.

The pigmentation, the redness, the lack of clarity. It builds up over time and it often gets mistaken for just "ageing skin" when it's actually very treatable.

IPL is one of the most effective treatments I offer for this and it's consistently one of the most underbooked. So here's everything worth knowing about it ➡️

Let’s talk about crepey neck skin, and what you can actually do about it.

It’s one of the first areas to show signs of ageing…and one of the easiest to neglect. If you’ve been focusing only on your face, this is your reminder: your neck deserves just as much care.

Here’s what I recommend to clients looking to firm, smooth and restore this delicate area:

✨ 1. Extend your skincare routine down to your neck and décolleté

Everything you apply to your face, including SPF, should be carried down to your neck. The skin here is thinner and produces less oil, making it more prone to dryness and crepiness. Hydration and protection are non-negotiable.

✨ 2. Consider injectable skin boosters

These use non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate the skin without adding volume. They also help stimulate collagen and elastin for long-term firmness.

✨ 3. Don’t overlook the role of muscle movement

Sometimes what looks like loose skin is actually linked to overactive muscles pulling the neck downward. Targeted muscle-relaxing injections can soften this tension, improving the overall smoothness and contour of the area.

The key? A combined approach - skincare for support, in-clinic treatments for structure, and smart prevention along the way.

If your neck has been gradually ageing while your face gets all the love, now’s the time to show it some attention. Tap the link in my bio to get started 💬

Summer is closer than you think, and your skin needs a different kind of attention going into this season than it did through winter.

Most people wait until their skin is already struggling, reacting to heat, looking dull or dealing with pigmentation that's crept up on them, before they do anything about it.

The better approach is to prepare it properly beforehand so it's in the best possible condition when UV levels are at their highest.

This is exactly what I do for my own skin every spring, the treatments I time deliberately, the products I reassess and the habits I lock in before summer arrives ➡️
