My three top tips for lip filler that ACTUALLY looks natural ↓
1. Just because our syringes are packaged to contain 1.0mL of product does not mean you need to use the entire thing
Every patient's anatomy has a limit to how much volume it can hold before the shape starts to look off, and for a lot of people that limit sits well below a full syringe. Building slowly over a few sessions lets the tissue expand gradually and keeps the result looking like your own lips. You're not paying for a full syringe, you're paying for the judgement to know when to stop.
2. Less product near the lip border, not more.
The edge of the lip is where natural results are won or lost. Placing too much product right up against the border is what creates that raised shelf you can spot from across a room. There are techniques that lift vertical height without loading the border, and a lighter hand as the needle comes back through the tissue makes all the difference. If you've ever looked at someone's lips and thought something looks slightly wrong without being able to say what, this is usually it.
3. Depth matters more than volume.
Treating the lip closer to the surface is both the safer option from a vascular point of view and the one that gives more visible change for less product. The lips look softer, more hydrated and better defined, and you avoid the heavy, weighed down look that comes from placing large amounts deeper in the tissue.
Natural results come down to how the product is placed, not how much of it there is 👄
