It's the first thing nearly everyone asks Dr Ghent before a dental implant. Not how long it takes. Not what it costs. Just: is it going to hurt?
It's a completely fair thing to wonder, so rather than skirt around it, our in-house implant dentist has written an honest answer. What an implant actually feels like on the day, what the recovery is really like, and why most patients finish and say "Is that it?"

Marathon effort for an incredible cause!

On 26 April our very own dentist Dr Rory will be taking on an epic 26.2 mile marathon to raise vital funds for the NSPCC.

As if running a marathon wasn’t enough, he’s also somehow agreed to shave his head… (We’re still not entirely sure why that happened, Rory included! 😄)

We’re wishing him perfect running conditions, plenty of encouragement along the route, and a huge smile crossing the finish line.

An amazing challenge for such an important cause.
