As Carers Week draws to a close Hannah, one of the brilliant volunteers in our Carers Experience Service tells us what the role means to her:

"As an admin volunteer in the team, despite not seeing carers directly, the least I can do is handle their information with care and confidentiality. Each Carers Passport that we receive is a story of someone who needs help - one story we can make a little easier by handling it with care.

"Never be afraid to speak up, especially when it involves another person. No matter your role in the team, you have a voice that can be used to advocate for someone who needs help."

Thank you Hannah and to all our Carer Experience volunteers who make such a difference to our patients and their families đź’™

Are you or a loved one travelling by underground/tube to Mount Vernon this week?
