World Mental Health Day — 10 Oct

Reiki can be a gentle place to pause.

Reiki is not a treatment for mental health conditions, and it is not a replacement for medical, psychological, or therapeutic support.

But for many people, Reiki can feel like a quiet, supportive space.

A space to rest.
A space to breathe.
A space where you don’t have to explain everything.
A space to gently reconnect with yourself.

My approach to Reiki is simple, warm, and grounded.
No pressure.
No big promises.
Just a calm space to pause and notice what you need.

You don’t need to be spiritual.
You don’t need to understand everything.
You can simply come with curiosity.

If you are curious about Reiki, you are welcome to ask me what a session is like. 🌿

Are you relaxed — but are you rested? 🌿

This week, I’ve been thinking about the difference between relaxation and deep rest.

I know many ways to relax — walking, nature, music, exploring, creative dates. They all nourish me.

But at a gong event recently, I experienced something different.

I lay down.

Nothing to do.
Nothing to achieve.
Nothing to work out.

I could simply receive.

At first, I noticed many sensations — movement, vibration and what I would describe as energy within and around me.

I didn’t try to understand or change anything.

I simply noticed and allowed.

Gradually, everything became quieter.

It reminded me of what I sometimes hear after treatments:

“I completely spaced out.”
“I feel different.”
“I have new feet!”
“I have a new face!”

Perhaps we don’t become a new person.

Perhaps after deeply resting, we simply experience ourselves differently.

For me, it feels like a little circle:

RECEIVE → PAUSE → LISTEN → NOTICE → ALLOW → RETURN ↻

You can be happy and still need deep rest.

You can feel relaxed and still need deep rest.

We don’t have to wait until we’re exhausted to rest.

Sometimes we simply need a little space to receive. 🌿

I’ve written more about this in my latest blog — link in bio.

An ending I wasn’t quite ready for. 🍂

This week, triyoga suddenly closed.

Part of me knew this might happen one day, but I wasn’t prepared for how it ended.

After so many years there, I’ve been feeling surprisingly sentimental.

There is sadness.
There is disappointment.
There are good memories and difficult ones.
And there is gratitude too.

What surprised me most was how this ending touched memories of other unexpected endings in my life.

It reminded me:

Sometimes what is happening today touches something we were already carrying from yesterday.

And the timing — around the autumn equinox — felt particularly meaningful.

In Five Element philosophy, autumn is associated with the Metal element and traditionally with grief, letting go and recognising what is precious.

But perhaps letting go doesn’t begin with telling ourselves to let go.

Perhaps first we need to notice what we are holding.

Right now, I’m allowing grief and gratitude to sit together.

And I’m especially missing the Buddha that quietly shared my treatment room for so many years. 🤍

One chapter has ended.

My treatments will now continue at HomeWellness, Primrose Hill.

And this autumn, I’ll be exploring more about emotional wellbeing — both in my own life and in the work I share with you.

What are you carrying into this new season? 🍂

🍂 Autumn Equinox — A Moment to Remember

We often wait for something big to make us happy.

Good news.
A big achievement.
Something exciting to happen.

But how many small moments of happiness do we take for granted every day?

Our body carrying us through the day.
Our emotions reminding us that we are alive.
Our spirit.
The people we love.
Having our essential needs met.
The opportunity to learn, change and grow.

We are human.
And sometimes we simply forget what we already have.

The Autumn Equinox is a beautiful moment to pause.

To notice.
To appreciate.
To remember.
And to reconnect with what is already here — and what we already have within us.

Because when we become more conscious of these small moments, something begins to change.

We notice more.
We appreciate more.
And ordinary life can begin to feel different.

Happiness doesn’t always arrive as something big.

Sometimes we just need to become sensitive enough to notice the small moments of joy that are already part of our lives.

This Autumn Equinox, let’s pause and remember what we already have. 🍂

Our body.
Our emotions.
Our spirit.
Our relationships.
Our growth.
Our life.

Gratitude for all the small moments. 🤍

What if it was already there? 🌿

Recently I’ve been thinking about our natural healing capacity — not as something another person gives us, but as our capacity to participate in our own wellbeing.

Sometimes we notice something physically. Sometimes emotionally. Sometimes we simply feel, “I don’t quite feel like myself.”

I don’t see my role as a therapist as fixing you.

Sometimes my role is simply to offer support while you discover what you need next.

If you’re new here, welcome. 🤍

I share reflections on the body, emotions, Reiki, holistic wellbeing and the ordinary experiences that make me think about life a little differently.

Come as you are. We can listen together.

Sometimes healing is not about being fixed.

It is about having a quiet space where your body can soften,
your breath can deepen,
and you can remember your own healing capacity.

A little hidden wellness space near Primrose Hill 🌿

I used to live around this area in my 20s and 30s, when London felt full of possibility — music, culture, people, learning, and so many new experiences.

Later, I became a therapist at Triyoga, where I had the chance to learn from teachers and wellness practitioners across different disciplines.

Now, in my 50s, I find myself working in the same area again — this time at

It feels a little like coming full circle.

HomeWellness is more than a place to receive treatment. It has a calm, tucked-away atmosphere where you can slow down, reset, and reconnect with yourself. They also host workshops with experienced wellness practitioners and teachers from different backgrounds.

And yes — the café at is lovely too ☕️

A nice place to pause before or after a session, meet a friend, or simply enjoy a quieter side of London.

For me, this part of London connects my past, my learning, and the work I do today.

Cancer New Moon 🌑🌙

Today, I pulled two cards.

🌳 Autumn Tree
🌙 Moon

And I felt a quiet message.

We often look at what we still need to heal.

What we need to change.
What we haven’t achieved yet.
Who we still need to become.

But today, I was reminded to look back.

At everything I have already walked through.

The experiences that changed me.
The choices I made.
The difficult moments.
The love, lessons and healing along the way.

Maybe transformation isn’t always about becoming someone new.

Sometimes, it is about seeing the gold in who we have already become. 🌳✨

And the Moon left me with another question…

🌙 What do I need now to allow my own light to shine?

Not to perform.
Not to prove anything.

Simply to shine.

Tonight, I’m sitting with these questions.

🌳 What in me has already turned to gold?
✨ What part of my journey deserves gratitude?
🌙 What do I need now to let my light shine?

Maybe these questions are for you too. 🌙

What has already turned to gold in your life

This morning, I looked outside and saw the most beautiful blue sunny sky.

And something in me said, “I want to see the sea.”

So I listened.

I drove to the beach, walked along the seafront, breathed in the air, and let the morning meet me.

It was simple. Nothing dramatic.
But it changed the whole feeling of my day.

Sometimes our body knows what we need before our mind can explain it.

A little fresh air.
A little space.
A little blue.
A little reminder that we are allowed to follow what brings us back to ourselves. 🌊
