The difference a de-load week can make…

Same effort.
Very different outcome.

Last week: 🏃🏾‍♀️ 10.25km @ 6:51/km
This week: 🏃🏾‍♀️ 10.61km @ 6:37/km

Lower heart rate.
Better pace.
More efficient running.

Sometimes the biggest progress comes from backing off strategically, allowing the body to recover, absorb the training, and come back stronger.

Recovery isn’t weakness.
It’s part of the process.

Feel Good Friday 😌

This week was all about the de-load.

Not every week needs to be full throttle. Sometimes progress comes from pulling back strategically so the body can absorb the work.

This week’s focus:
🏃🏾‍♀️ Maintain running quality without overload
💪🏾 Keep strength progressing
✊🏾 Improve grip consistency
❤️ Reinforce Zone 2 work
🥗 Reset nutrition habits

And of course… topped it all off with a little bowling.

Recovery is productive too.
Now we build again.
