One conference. One cause. Many voices united for children with PANS/PANDAS. 💙

Proud to have participated in a milestone meeting at the European Parliament alongside organisations and families advocating for recognition, research and better care across Europe. The have brilliantly summarised our commitments in this manifesto. We’re all moving forward now with renewed, united momentum.

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Cara as our first PhD student. Cara is currently completing her studies at Cambridge and will begin her PANS PANDAS research project in September. This is a joint venture with neuroscience department at Anglia Ruskin University and is another first from The London PANS Clinic and The Children’s e-Hospital. Keep a look out for some more exciting news in the next week from LPC.

Another patient discharged! When we make our patients better and it’s time for discharge we do of course have mixed feelings, we are grateful that we have made them better but sad that we won’t see them again. What we do take from this is that our process works. We DO NOT treat blindly, we investigate and use those investigations to direct our treatment in a logical and scientific way. This ensures a safe and effective service. 71% of our patients show an “EXCELLENT” response to treatment. Our process works. To the patients we have discharged, we will miss you!
