There was plenty of music at Willesden Court Care Home when our visiting musician came along! 🎶💜

Our wonderful residents enjoyed a lively group session with lots of singing and plenty of chances to join in. Afterwards, there were some quieter one-to-one moments with music and prayer, giving residents the opportunity to enjoy the session in their own way.

A lovely time together, and a big thank you to our wonderful musician for sharing their talent with us. We’re already looking forward to the next visit! 🎻😊

We had such a lovely day here at Willesden Court Care Home , with lots going on and plenty of smiles along the way 💜

Out in the garden, some of our residents enjoyed a bit of colouring in the sunshine, while inside there were puzzles on the go and a few friendly challenges in the lounge. It was one of those days where everyone found their own little moment to enjoy.

A big congratulations as well to our Employee of the Month, Palvinder Singh 🎉 We’re so grateful for everything you do and it’s lovely to see your hard work recognised 😊

July saw us celebrating a few of our favourite dates in the calendar, alongside all the everyday moments that make each month special 💜

We marked World Chocolate Day with a few well deserved treats, celebrated National Ice Cream Day with everyone's favourite flavours, and during , we took the opportunity to recognise our wonderful teams who make such a difference every day 🍦🍫

Alongside the celebrations, there were all the little moments that make each month what it is, catching up with friends, enjoying favourite activities and making the most of the summer days.

What a special afternoon we shared at Willesden Court Care Home 🎶💜

A huge thank you to Community Action on Dementia in Brent and the wonderful Songs of Joy choir for filling our home with beautiful music. Residents, relatives, our team, and our Home Manager all joined in with the singing, and it was lovely to see so many smiling faces throughout the home.

One of the most touching moments came when the choir dedicated You Are My Sunshine to Kathleen to celebrate her 60th wedding anniversary. It was a truly heartfelt surprise that made her day, and one we'll all remember for a long time 💜

June brought plenty of reasons to celebrate across our homes, with lots of special moments shared together along the way 💜

We marked Care Home Open Week by welcoming visitors into our homes, celebrated Pride Month with colourful activities and conversations, and enjoyed making Father's Day a memorable one for the wonderful father figures in our community 🌈

There was also time for some light hearted fun as we tucked into National Fish and Chips Day, got creative for National Cheese Day, and found lots of other reasons to smile throughout the month 🧀🐟

Our very first pet therapy session at Willesden Court Care Home was a real hit and it didn’t take long for Coco to steal the show 💜

Our residents loved spending time with her, giving plenty of fuss and enjoying those calm, gentle moments she brings. Coco seemed just as happy, making her way around to say hello to everyone, including our lovely team members Natalie, Kim, Olga and Katherine. 😊

There were lots of chats with Raj and Rickie too, as everyone was keen to learn more about Coco. Safe to say, she has already made quite the impression on our home, and we think this might be the start of a very special friendship 🐾

🌞 Our First Ever Event at Willesden Court Care Home !

On May 30th 2026, we hosted our very first event since opening, celebrating National BBQ Week! Residents, carers, family, and friends came together for a fun social afternoon filled with good food, music, and plenty of laughter.

Our wonderful residents loved spending time in the garden, meeting new friends, and enjoying the lovely cake from cakebox by Katerina 🍰. Mr Ali and his son said they really enjoyed the atmosphere and how inclusive everyone was 💜.

A huge thank you to our wonderful kitchen and care teams, and to Katherine, our Activities Coordinator, for helping make the day so special.
