I try to fit in a few calls here & there but I end up doing embarrassingly few - there are many volunteers doing so much more. And the paid callback staff & NBH at night staff are a team of heroes, making sure that everyone gets heard. Love being able to collaborate with Drugs in Breastmilk Service information service for information sheets & referrals too.

- if you have a breastfeeding/pumping/combi feeding/stopping breastfeeding question, the NBH is there for you. Even if you don’t have a question & you just need a listening ear, we are here.

📢 Research Participants Needed

I’m pleased to share this opportunity on behalf of Jennah Evans, a Post-Graduate Researcher in the Doctoral College, Faculty of Health, Environment and Medical Sciences at Bournemouth University.

Jennah is looking for breastfeeding parents in the UK to take part in a research study exploring how stress may affect the breastfeeding experience.

You may be eligible if you:
🤱 Are currently breastfeeding (exclusively, with or without solid foods)
📍 Live in the UK
🇬🇧 Can understand, speak, read and write English
💇 Have hair at least 4 cm long

Participation involves:
✔️ Completing two short questionnaires and one survey
✔️ Donating a small hair sample from the back of your head
🎁 Receive a £10 gift card upon completion.

Did you know that after your baby has a tongue tie division, it’s best practice to go back to the person who referred you for breastfeeding support?

Tongue tie recovery & rehab can be a process which takes several weeks/ Asking someone to support you with optimising latch, and looking at gentle rehabilitation exercises will help any scar tissue to form as stretchy and as far back as possible, bringing optimal results.
