💷 Up to £15.00 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience) 🕗 12-hour day shifts (8am - 8pm) – Contracts Available - Supporting a young lady in her own home – 📍Haverfordwest Wales 📍

We are looking for a caring, bubbly, and confident Support Worker to join a dedicated support team for a young lady in her family home.

This role is about so much more than care. You'll be providing companionship, helping to create meaningful moments throughout the day, and supporting our client to enjoy the things she loves. This could include reading to her, listening to music, watching films together.

Our client has travelled the world with her parents and would enjoy hearing about other people's adventures and life experiences. If you're chatty, positive, and enjoy building genuine connections with people, we'd love to hear from you!

The role includes:
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Reading books and stories to our client.
• Listening to music and watching films together.
• Engaging in conversation and helping stimulate interests and enjoyment.
• Monitoring oxygen levels and other observations as required.
• Personal care.
• Working closely alongside family members

🎓 No qualifications? No problem! Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential. We are happy to hear from applicants with no formal qualifications, as full training and on-going support will be provided.

Due to our client's health needs and vulnerability to infections, staff are required to wear a face mask during shifts and follow good hand hygiene and PPE procedures.

We're looking for caring, reliable Male Support Workers to support a friendly gentleman with a great sense of humour and a love for life.

About our client:

💥 Loves action movies and would love regular trips to the cinema
🎶 Big fan of 2000s R&B music
😂 Has a cheeky personality and enjoys joking around
🍻 Enjoys going to the pub and spending time in the community
🏋️ Dedicated to his fitness, wanting to attend the gym 5 days a week

Support Needs:
Following a brain injury sustained in a traffic accident, he requires 2:1 support during the day.

His speech is affected, but he communicates using his own version of sign language and can also write things down if needed. Patience and good communication skills are essential.

He uses a wheelchair for mobility but can complete standing transfers. There is a potential risk of falls if he takes more than a couple of steps, so you'll need to be confident supporting mobility safely.

Hours Available
🕗 Day Shifts: 8:00am - 8:00pm
🕗 Night Shifts: 8:00pm - 8:00am

✅ Days available: 3-4 shifts per week
✅ Nights available: 3-4 shifts per week

Night support is generally 1:1, including sleep-in nights, with a second staff member always available should any assistance be required.
