Chronic headaches: what I thought was causing them, and what it actually was.
This is one person's story. A clenching jaw, a stiff neck and tight shoulders can all be part of the picture, and stress is often what links them. Swipe through to see how each can feel.
If headaches keep coming back, you don't need a GP referral to see a chiropractor. Simon or Emma will ask when they happen, check how your neck, upper back and jaw move, and treat what's suitable. If it needs a dentist or your GP, they'll say so.
Emma's free screenings are on tonight, Thursday 15th October, 7–8pm (10-minute slots). Book via the link in our bio.
This post is general information and isn't a substitute for medical advice. If a headache is sudden and severe, or comes with other worrying symptoms, get urgent medical help.
