One thing I hear almost daily from people with foot pain is this:
“I’ve tried loads of different shoes. Nothing really helped.”
What’s interesting is that most of those shoes were chosen for softness or cushioning alone.
In practice, discomfort often has far more to do with stability, load distribution, and how the foot is supported over time, not just how soft something feels when you first put it on.
Comfort at minute one and comfort at hour six are rarely the same thing.
