Alhamdulillah… 🤎🌾

We’re SO excited to announce our very first Sunnah Spoon stockist!

📍 Madyna, Blackburn, BB1 7LR
📅 Coming 1st October

This is such a special little milestone for us. What started as a small idea to bring Talbina back into our homes is now making its way onto a shop shelf Alhamdulillah. 🤎

Blackburn, where are you?! 👀

From 1st October, you’ll be able to pop into Madyna and pick up your Sunnah Spoon Talbina locally. 🌾

100% organic British-grown barley, freshly stone-milled in small batches, with nothing added or taken away.

And honestly, a huge Jazakallah to everyone who has supported Sunnah Spoon so far, every order, share, kind message and du’a has meant more than you know.

May Allah place immense barakah in this journey and allow Sunnah Spoon to play a small part in reviving this beautiful Sunnah. 🤍

Blackburn. Go show our very first stockist some love from 1st October! 🥹🌾

Money can’t buy you happiness… but Talbina can 🤍🌾

The Prophet ﷺ said:

«إِنَّ التَّلْبِينَةَ تُجِمُّ فُؤَادَ الْمَرِيضِ، وَتَذْهَبُ بِبَعْضِ الْحُزْنِ»

“Indeed, Talbina gives rest to the heart of the sick person and relieves some of his sorrow and grief.”

— Sahih al-Bukhari 5689

A simple food. A beautiful Sunnah. A reminder that sometimes comfort can be found in the simplest things. 🤍

Our first ever Sunnah Spoon stall 🌾

Something that started with a little bag of grain, a mill in the kitchen and a desire to bring talbina back into our homes… made its way onto a table for the first time.

We made saffron & rose talbina fresh on the day, packed our stone-milled barley flour, arranged everything as best we could and people actually came over and bought it
Couldn’t believe my ears when some said they came just for Sunnah Spoon 🥹🥹

More than anything, it was a reminder of why Sunnah Spoon began in the first place: to reconnect with a forgotten sunnah food, and make talbina something we can easily bring back into our everyday lives.

Alhamdulillah for every person who stopped by, every kind word, every pouch that found a new home and for this little milestone. 🌾

The beginning, in sha Allah. 🤎

A full-circle moment for Sunnah Spoon 🤍

Standing here in Madinah with a pouch of Sunnah Spoon, I found myself remembering why I started it in the first place.

It was never just about making and selling talbina.

It was about reviving a Sunnah food.

The Prophet ﷺ spoke so beautifully about talbina and its comfort for the heart and the sick, something so simple, yet so full of goodness and meaning.

After taking a little step back from Sunnah Spoon, being here reminded me of the niyyah behind it all. And honestly, it felt so wholesome. 🥹

To see something I started with the intention of reviving a forgotten Sunnah, here in Madinah, beside the beautiful Masjid an-Nabawi ﷺ…

It felt like a little reminder from Allah of why I started.

May Allah put barakah in Sunnah Spoon, make it a means of reviving this beautiful Sunnah and accept the intention behind it. Ameen 🤲🏻
