The Banks Surgery is taking part in the
TURN SILEBY AND QUORN PINK & BLUE 2026 in aid of Cancer Research UK

The staff and the practice will look a little different for a couple of weeks. Please pop in (you don't have to be poorly to pop in and see us) to help raise much needed funds.

We have wrist bands and cancer pins and keyrings if anyone would like to buy one. We will also have some games to play to help with the donations. Prizes to be won. Children can enter the pink or blue drawing competition.

The NHS vaccine programme for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) has halved the number of babies needing support in intensive care units, new figures suggest.

Health officials said that dozens of newborns have potentially avoided being admitted to intensive care after their mother received the RSV jab during pregnancy.

A new report from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has shown the impact of the maternal vaccination programme for the first time.
