If you haven't yet thought about your eyewear sun protection - call into the practice and have a look what we offer.

We have lots of options available but if particularly love the outdoors then you might like to have a look at the selection we have from Zeal Optics .

Zeal offer high quality/durable eyewear with premium polarisation, Ellume colour filtration ( to block glare that can dull colour,) 100% UVA/B protection and HEV light filtration and with a hard coat.

Well the day has arrived for our Julie who is retiring today.

Julie joined the practice back in 2005 ,so has been with us for an incredible 21 years and we have been so lucky to have you.

Whilst we will all miss you so much Julie, now its time to focus on you and do all those things you've been waiting to do.

Saturday July 4th was Independent's Day in the UK.

As an independent opticians we value all of our patients for their support and that they have chosen us to look after their eye care.

The practice was founded in 1931 and in 1974 David Austen joined the practice. With patient care being our top priority.

Today, patient care remains that priority. We take the time to listen to your needs.

We offer 40 minute appointment slots, where our optical team are ready to greet you when you arrive and provide pre screenings before seeing one of our Optometrists. Afterwards they will hand you back over to us where we can guide you through our great options of spectacles, lenses and contact lenses.

We look forward to seeing you at the practice soon!
