We are officially 5!!! Happy birthday Baby Sensory Fylde 🎉
I absolutely cannot believe it has been 5 years since I ran my first class! We were distanced 2 metres apart with a prop box at each baby's mat, classes of 10 (or under in most venues), rules for no parachutes, no cloths, no exploratory play, wearing a mask at all times to today where we run in 4 different locations, have a full Sensory and Exploratory Play and have 10 classes a week with a new term starting in just over a week and only 6 spaces! What a journey!
I could write paragraphs but I'll try not to ... The biggest thank you to every single family that has walked through our doors since 25th May 2021 because you're the only reason I'm still getting to call the absolute fun I do each day a job. When I handed in my notice as Bank Manager in March 2021, relocated back to my hometown after years of living in Yorkshire and took a risk on hoping the Fylde Coast would be into bubbles, balloons, petals and puppet shows, I will be totally honest and say that I was not expecting I would in this position today and was terrified that I would never be able to fill a single class and I'd have to try something else after a few years.
I've worked with so many amazing people over the years (too many to name them all) but a big thank you to all my venues, my bauble ladies Odie's Pottery and Glazey Days , my amazing photography team Michael Ivan Photography and of course, Becky at Diddy Dreams who became my most recent local business to work with after collaborating for birthday parties! 🎉
As I said, I could go on but I need to just say a big thank you to everyone who has been a part of and enjoyed our classes over the past 5 years. I've watched so many babies lie on those mats just days old and walk out at 13 months, I've witnessed many milestone achievements, I've seen parents form friendships for life, been nominated for a What's on 4kids award every year and I have also loved every single moment and am so incredibly lucky! Thank you so much for the best 5 years and for loving us so much and let's see what the next 5 bring .... 💚💛✨
