Dru Prenatal Yoga classes are different to any other type of yoga class. By preparing your body and mind for the changes that it will go through during pregnancy, labour and forwards to becoming a mother. Baby Yoga helps your baby to; improve digestion, settle babies and improve their sleep, strengthen the physical body, improve blood flow, tone muscles, enhance flexibility, stimulate senses and is also a lot of fun!

Are you reaching 30 weeks pregnant? It is the perfect window to start visualising your birth. I want to help you and your birth partner feel calm, connected, and completely ready for what is ahead.

Does your partner know how to physically and emotionally support you during labour?

My private sessions are designed specifically to give them the tools they need to be an active, helpful part of your birth team.

Together, we will practice tailored yoga movements, birth positions, breathing techniques, and massage for comfort.

Drawing from my 15 years of teaching and my work with Macclesfield Maternity, I will share practical tips for your labour and the golden hour that follows.

Ideally timed before your 36-week midwife appointment, these sessions can take place in the comfort of my home space or your own.

The investment is £65, which includes a post-session information guide and my continuous support.

As a busy mum, with 3 kids all needing me in different ways, its important that I make time for myself so I have the energy to give to them.

Looking after my body is priority.

I bring movement in to my day in some way everyday. Yoga, pilates, running, mountain biking, strength training.

But health check up are as important.

And ways to relax such as a massage.

helps me keep my balance.

works on my core strength and movement range.
movement Rachel helps make sure im lifting the right weights in the right way.

Babs checked me over and said I have a class pelvic floor.

helped massage out all the tight spots, she always give an amazing reflexology treatment too.

I recommend all of these health professionals, to use while pregnant and postnatally.

Ok let's go!

I have had 6 weeks off teaching baby yoga, im back from next week!

Both my boys have taken part in my baby yoga classes and my marketing materials, thanks Jasper and Felix.

Baby yoga is a space for mums to move with their babies. To move together.

Babies can join in, sleep, feed or be cuddled. We adapt to what they need always putting them first.

This calm space allows mums to have a moment for themselves, to move, breathe, rest, relax, share, be supported, be part of a community.

No judgement, no pressure, no one cares what you are wearing, no one cares what moves you can or cant do, it all doesnt matter.

Being present in your body with your baby is all that matters.

Classes on a Wednesday at 11am and Friday at 10am. In Macclesfield.

I have spent the last month following this little dude around skate parks in Western Australia.

Yes I packed his balance bike in my case and took it with us.

Its been an emotional journey.

I faced so many challenges. So many times solo parenting was really hard. Supporting my 4 year olds emotions, being his only support, trying to relax and have fun but also sharing a bed and being together 24/7 for 30 days.

Apart from an hour and a half while I completed a triathlon and my brother, sister in law and niece held him.

There have been ups and downs, times I just wanted to ask my husband for help, but with the time difference I couldn't, he was brilliant from a distance.

But I dug deep, I stepped up, I made time for yoga and a few things I wanted to do as well as being there for him.

I am stronger for it.

I just want to remind all parents to make sure you parent how you want to parent, to do the things that you want to do. To step out of the easy and comfortable. To show our kids that we can do hard things and to show them the world.

Kids adapt, we slept in 8 different places, took one 17 hour flight to Perth, it took us almost 29 hours from our friends house to my front door to get home, and I felt over whelmed and had a cry before we left as it felt so massive but Felix didnt. He was present, took it one part at a time. Rolled with what was happening in the moment.

I learn from him and he learns from me.

Anyway, we are home and not only surviving but we thrived!

Do hard things because you are stronger than you know.

Adventure update.

There has been, lots of playgroups and stakeparks, I brought his balance bike with me in the suitcase, rain, sunshine, yoga, a triathlon for me my brother and neice, treetop walks, beach walks, bush walks, playing on the sand and in the sea, and story time at the library but its not all sunshine, there have also been lots of saying yes to ice creams and buying things for F just because I dont have the energy to say no again, there has been timeout on the floor in the street, there have been tears at bedtime from us both.

But in general we are doing ok. Someday are easier then others. I try and make sometime for me each day, to read a book or to stretch but hes never far away, normally sharing my bed.

Im taking it one day at a time, being open to a change of plan, and trying to see things in his eyes. Its all new to him, and with only me to turn too he needs more support. His misses home, his brother and sister and his dad, we both do but we will be back soon.

Let's see what today brings.

Sometimes my yoga time is once Felix is asleep in my pj's in a dark room, and sometimes its on a beach while he plays.

Whenever it is, I am still parenting, but I am also making time for myself.

I am a better parent for making time for me.

And Felix respects that I need this time.

Move in anyway that feels good and breath deeply.
