Hot day car seat check ☀️

Before you strap your baby or child in, touch the buckle, straps and seat fabric with your hand.

If it feels too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their skin.

What to do:
Air the car.
Cool the seat.
Wait before clipping them in.

To help stop it happening next time:
Park in shade where you can.
Use a windscreen shade.
Cover the empty car seat with a light towel or muslin when you leave the car.

Tiny check. Big difference.

FREE FIRST AID KITS! ✌🏻

have VERY kindly offered to fund a first aid kit for the first 60 bookings over the summer holidays, for our first aid classes for secondary school age children. 💚

In this class your child will learn how to perform effective CPR on their peers, as well as how to help them if they start choking.

We also cover:

Recovery position
Defibrillators
Fainting
Head bumps
Burns
Bleeds
Breaks
Asthma and Anaphylaxis

Pretty handy information to help each other over the summer, should they need to! 👌🏻

Four dates will soon be announced so check back over the next week to secure your childs place (and their FREE first aid kit) 🙌🏻

Each session is limited to 15 children.

Sessions cost £25 and last 2 hours!

Collect your kit at the end of your session.

THIS IS NOT A DROP OFF ALL ADULTS WILL NEED TO STAY FOR THE WHOLE SESSION

FIRST AID WITH FREDDIE this summer holidays ☀️

Our play led, engaging and interactive first aid class is suitable for 3 - 6 year olds.

Does your little one have a natural affinity to help others and would enjoy learning about first aid?

I will be at:

Ditton Community Centre on 29th July at 10:00 for our First Aid With Freddie class - Places limited!

The session is 45 minutes and each child will receive their own:

Mini First Aid Activity Book 💚
Mini First Aid Certificate 💚

Then join us on the green afterwards for a BYO picnic…

A great way to meet up with their potential future school friends also starting big school in September. 🤷‍♀️

Calling ALL SCHOOLS…

Our first aid classes can support you in helping to deliver your PHSE agenda.

Our lessons have been written with education specialists to comply with the EYFS and KS1 and KS2 requirements for first aid.

The training is:

Practical ✅ - Engaging ✅ - Interactive ✅

We can come in for a full, half day or several days and teach as many children as we can, working to a timetable that works best for you.

Learning how to save a life is no laughing matter!

Baby Oakley on the other hand finds it hilarious! 😂

This weekend we were at to deliver our award winning baby and child first aid class for an absolutely lovely group of families!

Did you know children are welcome at our first aid classes?

Sometimes you don’t get the opportunity to come before baby arrives or you have started weaning and you’ve become anxious about choking!

We are run by people with small children and we understand you can’t always get childcare so our classes are often full of babies - did I mention I love my job!

I get to hold them all and then hand them back!👌🏻😂
