We had the honour of looking after a lovely gentleman and giving him the special farewell he deserved. 💙

Before making our way to church for a beautiful service, we took one final journey past the Etihad Stadium, home of his beloved Manchester City Football Club.

A fitting and touching tribute to a lifelong City fan, and a lovely way to honour something that meant so much to him.

It was a privilege to be part of his final journey. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. 💙

💜 In Loving Memory of Julie 💜

A very special lady was given a lovely farewell today. Julie was a devoted wife and mum who meant the absolute world to her family and was loved more than words could say 💜

A beautiful and personal service was held at Dukinfield Crematorium, led by our celebrant John, who shared some lovely memories, a heartfelt tribute and some special poems in Julie’s memory.

Julie’s much-loved angel Betty Boop was also there to accompany her on her final journey 💜

In Loving Memory of Alan David Heslop ❤️

Alan’s funeral service will take place on Friday 23rd October 2026 at 11:00am at:

Alan will be leaving the family home at 10:35am and will be passing The King’s Head, between 10:40am and 10:45am as a tribute.

Following the service, everyone is warmly invited to join the family at The King’s Head, Droylsden, to share more memories of Alan.

If anyone wishes to wear a touch of red in tribute to Alan, they are very welcome to do so ❤️

Today we had the privilege of looking after a very special lady, Anne. 🩵

Anne was a huge Manchester City supporter, so there was only ever going to be one choice for her casket — Manchester City. 🩵

Before the service, we made a short stop at the Etihad, giving Anne one final visit to the home of the club she loved so much.

We then continued on to Droylsden Chapel, where Anne had a lovely service surrounded by her family and friends before she was lovingly laid to rest.

Rest peacefully, Anne. 💙🩵

Today we had the honour of saying goodbye to a very special gentleman, Mike.

Mike’s family wanted to do something a little different in his memory and something they knew he would have loved. So, instead of flowers, the hearse was filled with an array of chocolates, which were then shared amongst everyone at the wake.
Such a personal and fitting tribute to a truly special gentleman.

The carnival is over, but the memories will live on. Rest peacefully, Mike. 🤍

💛 A Beautiful Farewell for Diane 💛

Today, Diane began her final journey in a stunning white horse-drawn carriage, adorned with yellow plumes and drapes to complement her beautiful yellow flowers.

A truly beautiful farewell for a very special lady. Diane, you will be missed more than words can say and forever held in the hearts of those who loved you. 💛

May your soul find peace, your heart find rest, and your spirit shine brightly wherever you are 💫 🕊️ 💛

Bright colours was the order of the day today 🌈

Everyone wore bright colours, including the horses, Jack and Woody, as we said a very special farewell to Phillip at Dukinfield Crematorium.

There was lots of laughter in the chapel as celebrant John paid tribute to all the funny things about Phillip and the wonderful memories he leaves behind.

A special thank you to Horse Drawn Occasions Ltd for their impeccable turnout, as always.

A father’s love is never truly lost… it lives on in the memories we hold and the love that remains ❤️

Today we had the privilege of looking after David, affectionately known as Franky, a young man who was taken from those who loved him far too soon. 💜

There was so much love for David in the chapel today, and it was an honour for us to be entrusted with his final journey 💜

During the service, some of David’s own words were shared.
Words that seem even more poignant today, and a beautiful reminder to us all. 💜

“Don’t worry. Make life as you want it to be, because you might not have tomorrow. And only keep the people who give light to your life.” 💜

Sleep peacefully, David. Your time here was far too short, but the love you leave behind will last forever. 💜🕊️
