We are absolutely over the moon. ❤️🌿

The Breath Connection has partnered with the Blue Light Card Foundation to deliver Blue Light Reset Retreats. 🙌

This sits right at the very heart of everything we do.

More than a break away, these retreats bring our blue light community together in nature to rest, reconnect and recover. 🌲

Guided walks, outdoor mindfulness and cold water immersion, all woven around breathwork at their core. 🌬️❄️

But here is what matters most. People leave with practical tools they can carry for life. Real, felt change they can draw on long after they head home. ✨

The Blue Light Card Foundation does extraordinary work, funding life-enhancing wellbeing projects right across the UK for those who serve, and have served, in our emergency services, NHS and armed forces. 💙 They give back to the people who give the most, and we are so proud to stand alongside them.

Thank you for your faith in us. It means the world. 🙏

This is just the beginning. 🚀

We are beyond excited to share that for the very first time, we will be partnering with Exeter University on a brand new academic research study, run through the wonderful Curtis Palmer Program and us here at The Breath Connection! 🙌🎉

🚨 Please note: due to the academic research and specific funding, this particular course is for serving Police Officers only.

This research is looking specifically at Dynamic Breathing, a high ventilation breathwork practice, and we honestly cannot wait to get started! 🌬️🔬

🗓️ This will be our 27th CPP course, running from 20/07/26 to 31/07/26, Monday to Friday across the two weeks, via Zoom, one hour a day starting at 0630. It is designed to teach Dynamic breathing to help with stress, anxiety, depression and to improve overall mental health and wellbeing. 💙

This course has been specifically designed around the research project, but taking part in the study is completely opt in or opt out. So if you would rather not be part of the research, you can absolutely still join the course and enjoy every bit of it! ✨

This will be another course in a journey that has now seen over 500 service users come through, with many describing it as life changing and even life saving. 🙏

By choosing to take part in the study, you would be helping to bring breathwork into the world of science and research. How amazing is that?! 🧠💫

None of this would be possible without the Curtis Palmer Program. Their unwavering commitment to supporting their community, and their faith and belief in us and in the power of breathwork, is the reason we get to keep doing this work. ❤️

A huge thank you also to the National Police Wellbeing Service, Oscar Kilo, for so generously funding this course. Your support is genuinely changing lives. 🌟

📩 To find out more, please contact Hayley at Exeter University, us, or the Curtis Palmer Program directly to discuss taking part in this amazing project!

Yesterday marked another amazing session with the team at the Atlas Project. 🌬️✨

We feel incredibly grateful to be able to do this work. It really does feel like work in service. 🙏❤️

Alongside functional breathing exercises 🌬️, nervous-system regulation techniques 🧘 and lifestyle strategies for stress, we bring a complete holistic approach.

Because you can do all of the above, you can exercise all day 🏃, but if you’re not fuelling your body with the right food, the wheels will inevitably come off. 🚗💨

So yesterday was all about nutrition! 🥗 Nutrition for mood 😊, for exercise 💪, and for general health. 🍎

Food can drive your mood as much as your health, yet it’s so rarely looked at within the medical world. 🩺

Miranda’s knowledge is second to none 🌟, and she leaves the group with affordable, simple and effective nutrition tips to use every day. It’s an invaluable resource, simple but powerful 💚, and it supports the men and women we work with to live a happier, healthier life moving forward. 🌱

A massive thank you to everyone at the Atlas Project 🙌, and to all the brave individuals who join us through the probation service, ready to make a lasting, positive change in their lives. 💪❤️

What a day. ☀️

Yesterday’s full-day retreat, and right on cue, the rain cleared and the sun came out.

Around the circle: firefighters, veterans, nurses, teachers, police officers and members of the public, all breathing side by side. The people who hold the line for everyone else, and everyone who simply wants to feel steadier in themselves. This is who we’ve served for close to six years now. All welcome. Always. ❤️

We don’t do “nice days out.” We pack the day with tools people keep for life:

🌬️ Functional breathing
🥗 Nutrition
🤸 Movement
🔥 Dynamic, high-ventilation breathwork
🧊 Ice baths

And nutrition isn’t just something we serve, it’s something we teach. Miranda, our nutritional therapist, gave a talk on how to truly nourish your body and nervous system, real knowledge people walk away and use. Then we backed it at the table: a juice shot on arrival, home-cooked plant-based food made by our own hands, and a date ball after the breathwork. 🌱

Then the magic. The wonderful Clare Savoury on sound bowls and me on the Shruti, guiding everyone through slow, coherent breath. Clare then led the group out into nature for a nervous-system reset meditation and her beautiful sound bath, under the open sky over the Cheshire plain, before Qigong back inside.

And a sound bath isn’t “woo.” Sustained, rhythmic sound helps shift the nervous system out of fight-or-flight into rest-and-repair, heart rate slows, breathing settles, the body recovers. For people whose systems run hot every shift, that reset is gold. 🔔

And the bit that matters most: we don’t send you home on a high to crash tomorrow. You leave with recordings, a Dropbox of guided practices, and simple techniques to use every day.

Thank YOU, for showing up, for leaning into the unfamiliar, often at the edge of your comfort zone, all with a smile and grace. We are because of you.

And Clare, thank you, for your warmth, generosity, wicked humour and all you know. We’re so lucky to have you. 🙏

What an event. 🔥

We had the absolute honour of being speakers at the Deliberate Fire Summit 2026 at the GMFRS Training & Safety Centre in Bury - two days of collaboration, shared learning and genuinely groundbreaking work. 🙌

Brought together by GMFRS in partnership with IFIRE and Silence of Su***de, this international gathering united professionals from fire & rescue, policing, justice, health, education and community safety - all working towards preventing deliberate fires and reducing harm. Speakers travelled from across the globe, and the energy in the room was something special. 🌍

We were honoured to close the event with our story - all things and, most importantly, our work with the Atlas Project over the last 3 years. We shared the science of functional breathing, breathwork techniques for stress and nervous system regulation… and then (of course 😏) we got the whole room breathing together in a guided coherent breath. 🌬️✨

Huge thanks to Emma, Peter, Niall and Jenny - not just for their hard work, but for their dedication to making a lasting, positive change in people’s lives.

Groundbreaking. Innovative. Inspiring. 🙏

Who’s ready to press pause on the world for a little while? 🙏✨

Tonight at 9pm I’d love you to join me for a guided Metta Meditation combined with Coherent Breathing. 🧘🕉️💫

Two of the most powerful practices around. Together, they’re something else entirely. 🔥❤️

Coherent Breathing is slow, rhythmic breathing at around 5.5 breaths per minute. 🌬️ Your nervous system shifts into balance. Heart rate, brainwaves, and breath all begin to sync up. 💚 Your body literally moves into a state of harmony. ✨

And that’s exactly when Metta lands deepest. 🙏

Metta is simply the practice of sending kindness. 💛 You start with yourself, then slowly extend that warmth outward. To the people you love. To those around you. Eventually to all living beings. 🌍❤️

When your nervous system is calm and open, the heart follows. 💗 The two together create something really quite beautiful. 🌸

No experience needed. No special skills. Just a few quiet minutes and a willingness to show up. 🌿🙏

Cameras on or off. Bring your friends, your family… and your pets. 🐾❤️😊

9pm tonight via the Zoom link in the comments🕊️🕉️

May all living beings be happy. 😊❤️🙏

BIG LOVE, have a wonderful Thursday beautiful people. ❤️

And YES…I did just copy and paste last weeks message! 😂😜🥰
