The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“Whoever wants to perform cupping (Hijama), let him seek the 17th, 19th and 21st day of the (Islamic lunar) month, and let none of you allow his blood to rage such that it kills him.”
— Reported by Anas ibn Malik (RA)
