I’ve unexpectedly got a bit more flexibility in my diary over the next 2 weeks, which doesn’t happen very often! 🥰

Lots of laughs, lovely conversations and, most importantly, encouraging independence through everyday activities. ❤️

Dementia doesn’t mean losing your independence.

Something I’m really passionate about is encouraging people to continue doing the things they can, even if it takes a little longer or they need a helping hand.

Sometimes it’s the smallest everyday tasks that bring the biggest sense of purpose and achievement. 🥰

It’s not always about doing things for someone, but doing things with them. 🤍

As Kindred continues to grow, it’s been really important to me to find someone who shares the same values and understands that what we do is about so much more than simply providing a service.

It’s about kindness, compassion, building relationships and genuinely taking the time to get to know the people we support. 🤍

And I’m so pleased to have found just that!

🩷 Cuteness Alert 🩷

How simply scrumptious is the youngest member of the Kindred community. 4 weeks young and today has been full of cuddles, milk, some smiles and more cuddles. 🩷

We had a lovely day while her Mummy had a much needed day to get some jobs done.

Better late than never. September, you were a busy one! 🤍

Just a few little snippets of what we’ve been up to last month! 🥰

From breakfast dates to lunch outings and dinner dates, companionship and crosswords, haircuts and appointments, decluttering and organising, school pick-ups, nap times and feeding the ducks… with plenty of paperwork and admin squeezed in between!

No two days are ever quite the same, and that’s one of the things I love most about what I do. 🤍

As always, I feel incredibly lucky to be welcomed into your lives, trusted with the little things and the big things, and to share so many lovely moments along the way.

Here’s to another month of making a difference, one visit at a time. 🤍
