Just had my first week off work since Christmas! I spent four gorgeous nights in Majorca with my beautiful best friend, followed by a couple of slow days pottering around at home. It was the perfect mix of sunshine, laughter and rest.

Back at Pear Tree HQ after a week off, I’m feeling refreshed and grateful for a beautiful week off!

With temperatures rising, many of you may be wondering how I keep you comfortable and cool in the treatment room. ☀️

Luckily, the treatment room stays pleasantly cool, I have a few extra touches to help you feel refreshed during your visit:

✋ A glass of cold water will be waiting for you when you arrive.

✋ Baby wipes are available to help you cool down and freshen up, as well as remove any smudged makeup.

✋ One of my favourite tricks is applying a light dusting of baby powder before any oil is used. It feels cooling on the skin and helps absorb excess moisture, making treatments more comfortable on hot days.

✋ Hand sanitiser is always readily available.

✋ Drinking water is available throughout your appointment, so please let me know if you’d like a top-up.

A lovely few days off … my first proper break since Christmas and it’s certainly been a busy one!

Friday night was spent at Wembley with my daughter, Izzy, seeing Harry Styles. What a performer! His voice was incredible and there was plenty of singing and dancing throughout the evening.

Then on Monday, I headed to Cardiff Castle with Lydia to see Du Blonde, Skunk Anansie and Garbage. Skunk Anansie have long been one of my favourite bands and they absolutely lived up to expectations. Watching Skin perform while crowd surfing was a memorable moment and a reminder of why they’re such an iconic live act.

A great few days enjoying live music, spending quality time with Izzy and the bestie. Recharging today before getting back to work tomorrow 😃
