Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust and The University of Manchester are looking for family carers/care supporters to take part in a 6-week course exploring ways to improve communication and relationships when caring for someone living with dementia.

You could be eligible if you:
✔️ Are aged 18+
✔️ Are currently a family carer/care supporter for someone living with dementia
✔️ Provide emotional or practical support at least weekly

You will be compensated for your time.

A section of The Square will be subject to a temporary road closure and No Waiting At Any Time (NWAAT) restriction whilst Aptus carry out utility works. This is anticipated to take up to 4 weeks.

📍 Location of works:
The Square, Milnthorpe, from its junction with Firs Road, extending in a westerly direction for approximately 200 metres.

🚫 NWAAT / Loading Restriction:
No vehicle may wait at any time, or load/unload at any time, on either side of The Square, from its junction with Firs Road extending westwards for approximately 200 metres. This restriction also applies to Blue Badge holders.

⚠️ Alternative Route:
A suitable alternative route will be signed and made available via Church Street, Kirkgate Lane and Main Street.

🚲 A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will BE MAINTAINED at all times.

🚨 Emergency Services:
Access for emergency vehicles will BE MAINTAINED where required for the duration of this restriction.

Our Practice Nurses can provide sexual health advice and information, as well as STI testing, in a friendly, supportive and non-judgemental environment. Appointments are fully confidential, and you can choose whether you would prefer to see a male or female nurse.

Looking after your sexual health is an important part of looking after your overall wellbeing, whether you have any concerns or simply want reassurance.
