If you're pregnant, getting vaccinated can help protect both you and your baby this winter.

Flu vaccinations are available for pregnant women from GP practices and local pharmacies.

Flu can be serious during pregnancy for both mother and baby. Having the flu vaccine during pregnancy also helps pass protection to your baby during their first few months of life.

You can have your flu vaccine alongside other recommended pregnancy vaccinations, including RSV and whooping cough.

Speak to your maternity service, GP practice or local pharmacy about getting vaccinated during pregnancy.

🎟 Book now for The Story of the Bayeux Tapestry: Unravelling the Norman Conquest. Join us on 27 February 2027 for a special talk by Lead Curator of the Bayeux Tapestry exhibition at the British Museum, Michael Lewis, and historian David Musgrove.

Unravel the mysteries of this extraordinary artwork. Who made it, and when, why, where and what for? David and Michael will set the events depicted in the context of the machinations on either side of the English Channel in the years leading up to the Norman Conquest and tease out what the Tapestry tells us of the deeds of kings as well as everyday life in medieval Europe.

Somehow it's November already which means it's time to start getting for Christmas 🎄🤶🎅

Once again we're asking for donations of advent calendars to be given out on Thursday 26th November and items for our Christmas hampers.

Donations can be dropped off on Thursdays 8:30am until 10:30am at Newlands Methodist Mission. If you can't make that time, please message us to see if we're able to collect.
