Hello, I am getting lots of enquiries for “just” pre-and post-embryo transfer acupuncture sessions for IVF.

I need to explain how I work:-

While I completely understand why people look for this support, and that people don’t have an understanding of traditional acupuncture but my approach to fertility acupuncture is much more in depth than treatment on the day of transfer alone.

Fertility acupuncture is not simply about placing a few needles before and after a transfer procedure. The work I do focuses on supporting the body over time,regulating the cycle, balancing hormones, supporting egg and s***m quality, improving sleep and digestion, reducing anxiety & stress levels… you get the picture! 🙂💪This in turn helps to create the best possible conditions for conception and pregnancy.

This takes commitment and consistency and I support you all the way through the journey. Alongside acupuncture, I also provide tailored lifestyle advice , dietary and supplement guidance and emotional support. All of this needs time to be implemented for meaningful change to occur.

For this reason, I work with fertility patients over regular sessions, typically weekly or fortnightly for a minimum of 3 to 6 months where possible, to achieve the best outcomes.

I want patients to receive the full benefit of treatment rather than a “quick fix” approach that doesn’t reflect the depth of support I offer. At this late stage it may or may not get the results. I don’t know the person at all, so it just doesn’t sit right with me 🙃

I will not be doing the pre and post transfer acupuncture for this reason.

As always I absolutely love helping people become parents ❤️I am here for you for your fertility journey if you need me.
