Yin Yoga tonight 🌿

If the past few weeks have felt a bit heavy, busy or mentally full, tonight’s class is all about slowing down and giving your body (and your mind) a proper reset.

We’re moving into spring now, the light is coming back and everything around us is starting to soften and wake up again. This class is built around that same feeling, letting go of tension that’s built up over the darker months and creating space for something lighter.

Yin is completely different to fast-paced yoga. We hold the poses longer, work deep into the hips, lower back and legs, and give the nervous system a chance to fully switch off. It’s perfect if you feel tight, tired, overwhelmed, or like you just need an hour where you don’t have to do anything except breathe.

Tonight’s class will be slow, calming and really grounding. A mix of deep stretches, stillness and a long relaxing shavasana at the end.

6–7pm at Bronleigh House

If you’ve been meaning to come but haven’t yet, tonight would be the perfect one to start 🌙

This morning felt really simple but really meaningful 🌿☀️

I went down to the river and wrote on a leaf a few things I’ve been ready to let go of lately. Nothing dramatic, just the overthinking, the pressure and the things I know I don’t want to carry into the next season. I sat with it for a few minutes in the sunshine and then let it go into the water. Watching it drift away felt like a quiet reset.

It felt especially powerful today because of the Spring Equinox, the point in the year where we have equal light and darkness and from here the light slowly begins to return. It always feels like a gentle turning point. A moment to release what belongs to the darker months and make space for something new to grow.

After that I took a slow walk in the sun with my son. No rushing, no phone, just being present and spending time on what really matters. And while we were walking I found a little crochet flower someone had left to be found, which honestly felt like the perfect reminder that things really are starting to bloom again 🌸

I’ll be sharing this theme in class tonight because this time of year always feels like a soft fresh start.

If you were to write something on a leaf today, what would you be ready to let go of? 🌱
