Tune into the ‘Aap Ki Sehat’ health radio show with presenter Shakil Salam on Thursday 10th September 2026 from 4pm till 6pm LIVE on Pendle Community Radio - Awaz 103.1FM
As part of our ongoing cancer alliance project, the radio show will focus on Men’s Health with a detailed discussion around ‘Prostate Cancer’ which is the most common type of cancer in men. If you are over the age of 50, or you have a family history of the disease, then your risk is even higher.
Joining us for this important radio show dedicated to ‘Prostate Cancer’ from 4pm till 5pm will be guest Dr Yousaf who is an experienced General Practitioner with over 22 years of experience working within the NHS. He currently works as a GP in East Lancashire, providing comprehensive care to patients across the region.
He holds a MRCGP, MD in Cardiology from Newcastle University, FRCP (London) and MRCP (UK) Edinburgh. He also has extensive previous experience in cardiovascular medicine, having worked in specialist cardiovascular services at Newcastle and East Lancashire hospitals.
With a strong background in both general practice and cardiology, Dr Yousaf brings more than two decades of clinical experience and a passion for healthcare, community wellbeing and sharing medical knowledge.
