‼️ We have been informed by East Lancashire Hospitals Trust that staff working in the blood sciences departments at Royal Blackburn Hospital and Burnley General Hospital will be taking part in industrial action (Strike) on the following dates:

15 to 19 June
22 to 26 June
29 June to 3 July
6 to 10 July

Due to this, the lab will ONLY be able to analyse ‘urgent’ same day samples and we will only be able to offer a limited selection of blood sciences tests.

Unfortunately, Any routine tests scheduled for Monday 15 – Wednesday 17 June will need to be postponed.

If you have a routine blood test appointment between today and Wednesday, we will contact you to rearrange your appointment. ‼️

**You asked and we did**

Although all parents and carers, whatever their gender, are welcome at our groups, we do get asked regularly if we have anything specifically for dads, especially on a weekend.

So, here it is: Side By Side will be starting on Saturday 13th June and then taking place on the second Saturday of the month from 10am - 11.30am at Nelson Family Hub/The Zone, Leeds Road, BB9 8EL.

Side By Side is FREE, aimed at dads, male carers and children up to 11 years old, and will involve fun games and activities, plus a snack and a brew.
