🥰Exciting news from Feet First Podiatry!

We’re piloting Patsy, our AI receptionist, to keep the clinic connected after hours—weeknights and weekends when we’re closed.📞
Patsy can take bookings, adjust appointments, and help with general questions.
She’s here to make things easier while you wait for a human touch.
But don’t worry—our amazing Clinic Manager Julie will still be here during her normal hours to keep everything running smoothly.
This is early-stage testing, so we may tweak a few things as we go. Your feedback helps us polish the experience!

How Patsy helps you:
Bookings and reschedules anytime
Quick answers to common questions
Friendly, approachable support from wherever you are when ever want 🥰

P.S. We’re all about vibes and value—blending smart tech with the personal touch you know and love from Feet First Podiatry💕

Did you know our ankle ligaments aren’t just team players for stability? They’re super sensors too! These ligaments have tiny nerve endings that act like 24/7 motion detectors.

- They tell your brain exactly where your ankle is and how it’s moving (kinesthesia and awareness).
- When your ankle twists or bends, these sensors send quick signals to calm or tighten the surrounding muscles, helping you stay balanced and avoid getting hurt.
- After an ankle sprain, those sensors can get misfired a bit, which is why rehab includes balance and coordination training to retrain the brain-ankle signals.

Bottom line: Our ankles feel and react in real time to keep us steady, even on tricky surfaces. Pretty amazing, right? 🧠🦶✨

We can look at ankle ligaments with our state of the art Diagnostic Ultrasound Scanner, while also dynamically assessing for ligament laxity, partial tear or complete tear.

We love helping with anything lower limb!

‼️Important Update for Feet First Patients – Temporary Relocation‼️

An unfortunate incident occurred two weeks before Christmas affecting our clinic. The adjoining building to our premises collapsed, and as a result, we have had to source temporary premises to continue serving you.

What this means for you
We are currently setting up two fully equipped clinic rooms at our temporary location to ensure continuity of care.
This arrangement is temporary while the collapsed building is rectified or until we secure an alternative premises.

Temporary and upcoming appointment locations
From Wednesday, 7 January, we will be welcoming patients at:
7 Moor Hill Road, Newry, BT34 2QJ

If you have an appointment on 2 January, 5 January, or 6 January, you will be seen at:
15 St Mary Street, Newry

We understand that changes like these can be inconvenient, and we sincerely apologise for any disruption this may cause. Please know that we are working tirelessly to maintain the high standard of care you expect from Feet First and to minimise any impact on your treatment.

If you have any questions or need assistance with your appointment details, please get in contact with Julie who will be back to work on Friday 2nd January .
