Independent Steps

Amazing Summer Sessions. So many achievements, from practising standing up from the floor, side stepping to get a toy, using a walking aid for the first time, and much much more. The children were incredible and such fun to teach (and their parents are pretty incredible too). We even had a cat trying to join in with the fun!!! Thank you to for your continued support and enabling these sessions to take place. Sorry to those that didn't secure a space this time. Enjoy the rest of the summer holidays 😊

CONDUCTIVE EDUCATION AWARENESS WEEK 2025

✍️ Improving Fine Motor Skills with CE ✍️
Fine motor skills—including handwriting, buttoning a shirt, using utensils or operating a switch operated toy—are essential to daily life. Conductive Education provides targeted activities that give opportunities for weight bearing through upper limbs, resulting in strengthening hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, fostering independence in the little things that matter the most. 🎯

Watch as individuals refine their handwriting, practice precision, and take charge of their personal tasks! 💪

CONDUCTIVE EDUCATION AWARENESS WEEK

🚶‍♂️ Building Independence with Active Learning 🚶‍♀️
Active Learning is a cornerstone of Conductive Education, empowering individuals to engage in real-world activities, develop mobility skills, and gain independence in everyday life. From mastering balance in floor sitting to confidently moving from place to place, it’s all about creating opportunities to grow and thrive! 🌟

When people feel empowered to move and take control of their environment, they open up new possibilities for both learning and self-care.
