💫 EFT is basically my emotional support sidekick — like a tiny superhero🦸‍♀️ perched on my shoulder whispering, “Breathe… you’ve got this.”

Because honestly? There was a time when overwhelm and anxiety were running the show. Big plans? Cancelled. Fun things? Avoided. Joy? On the waiting list.

And then this weekend I found myself screaming Harry Styles lyrics 🎵in a crowd, living my best life, and I had this hilarious little realisation:

✨ Past me would’ve been at home in pyjamas pretending she didn’t like crowds.
✨ Present me was vibing, dancing, and fully THERE.
✨ EFT-me is unstoppable.

💫EFT has helped me calm the chaos, shrink the “what ifs,” and actually say YES to the things that make life feel good.

💫So tell me…
What big, delicious thing do you want — and what’s getting in your way?

💫Because if something’s holding you back, EFT is ready to roll up its sleeves and help you move through it.

🌿 My Brand Values
A slightly more “me” take on why my values matter

Right, so… brand values.
Not exactly the most exciting topic, but honestly, they’re the heartbeat of everything I do — in business and in life. They’re the reason clients feel safe with me.

And because I’m me, these values aren’t something I cooked up in a marketing meeting. They’re just… who I am.

✨ Compassion
I’m a big believer in meeting people gently — no judgement, no pressure, no “fixing”. Just real, human connection. The kind where someone finally feels understood and their whole nervous system goes, “Oh thank goodness.”

✨ Safety
If the body doesn’t feel safe, nothing shifts. So safety comes first, last, and everywhere in between. Whether I’m tapping with a client around stress or through overwhelm, I’m always creating a space where they can soften.

✨ Integrity
I’m honest, I’m clear, and I take the trust people place in me seriously. No fluff, no nonsense — just grounded, transparent support.

✨ Empowerment
I’m not here to be the hero of anyone’s story. I’m here to help people become the hero of their own. My job is to walk beside them, not in front.

✨ Humanity
I show up as a real person — imperfect, warm, and fully present. Healing is messy and beautiful and deeply human, and I honour that.

These values guide how I parent, how I work, how I communicate, and how I show up in the world. They’re not just part of my brand — they are my brand.

And if you’re here, reading this ramble with a cup of tea in hand, chances are these values matter to you too. Which makes me very grateful.

💫 In simple terms… this is what I do.💫

A lot of lovely people follow my page without fully knowing what I actually do.
So here it is, simply and honestly.

💫I help people who feel overwhelmed —
nurses, doctors, students, parents, carers, teachers, people juggling work stress, family stress, life stress, or just… everything.

đź’«The ones who are carrying too much.
The ones who feel foggy, stuck, anxious, or unable to make decisions because their nervous system is running on empty.

💫And I support them through EFT — a gentle, powerful way to calm the nervous system and the body, settle the mind, and bring you back into yourself.

đź’«Why do I do this?
Because everyone deserves to feel lighter, calmer, and more in control of their day.
Because when overwhelm softens, clarity returns.
Because feeling better shouldn’t be a luxury.

đź’«Simple.
This is what I do.
I help people feel calmer, clearer, and more themselves again.

💫If you’re curious about working with me or want support with overwhelm, I’m here.

✨️I look forward to the annual Tapping World 🌎 Summit, held online in February, to learn and improve my professional development .✨️

✨️Listening to experts like Nick Ortner, Jessica Ortner, Alex Ortner, Dr. Peta Stapleton, Dawson Church and Dr. Adriana Popescu share their research, clinical experience, and real‑world insights has genuinely transformed the way I understand and use EFT.

✨️Each session delivered, has offered something meaningful — from the science behind emotional regulation to practical tools that support stress, overwhelm, and long‑term behavioural change. Hearing these leaders talk so openly about their experiences with EFT has deepened my knowledge, along side reading books and training.

✨️It's a fabulous reminder of why this work matters.
And a powerful push to keep learning, keep refining, and keep growing.

✨️This Summit has reinforced just how transformative EFT can be — not only for clients, but for practitioners committed to delivering high‑quality, evidence‑informed support.

đź’ĄCortisol, Stress & EFT. Why the Research Matters to Me as a Former Nurseđź’Ą

As someone who spent years nursing on busy wards, I’ve seen first‑hand what stress does to the body. I saw the exhaustion, the overwhelm, the emotional load. Now I understand that so much of what we were witnessing was linked to one powerful hormone: Cortisol 💥

✨️What Is Cortisol?

Cortisol is a glucocorticoid hormone produced by the adrenal glands, which sit just above your kidneys. It affects almost every organ system in the body, helping regulate:
- Stress response
- Blood sugar and metabolism
- Inflammation
- Blood pressure
- Sleep–wake cycles

✨️Where Is It Produced?

Cortisol is made in the adrenal cortex, triggered by the brain’s hypothalamus and pituitary gland — a communication loop known as the HPA axis.

đź’ĄWhy Research Matters (and Why It Matters to Me)
As a former nurse,đź’Ą

✨E️vidence‑based practice is in my bones. I don’t share anything unless the research stacks up. When I first discovered EFT during my own burnout, I was curious — but it was the science that convinced me.

And the science is strong.

✨️How EFT Reduces Cortisol

Multiple studies show that EFT significantly lowers cortisol — often more than other stress‑reduction methods tested.

📉 Key research findings:

- A randomized controlled trial found that one hour of EFT reduced cortisol by 24%, compared with 14% from talk therapy or rest.
- A later study led by Dr. Peta Stapleton found an even greater reduction — a 43% drop in cortisol after a single EFT session.

✨️Why Does EFT Work

EFT combines gentle tapping on acupressure points with acknowledging how you feel. Research shows this process:
- Calms the amygdala (the brain’s alarm system)
- Reduces the fight‑or‑flight response
- Signals safety to the nervous system
- Lowers cortisol and emotional distress at the same time

✨️Why I Share This

I’ve lived both sides — the clinical world where stress is constant, and the wellbeing world where we finally have tools to regulate it. EFT isn’t fluffy. It’s not wishful thinking. It’s a research‑supported, physiologically measurable way to help the body come back into balance.

If you’re curious about how EFT can support your stress levels, emotional regulation, or exam‑season nerves, get in touch with me.

✨️Curious about what it’s like to work with me?
I offer online and face‑to‑face sessions, giving you the flexibility to choose what feels right for you.

✨️I’ve worked with clients internationally, so I’m used to navigating different time zones and finding a rhythm that fits comfortably around your life.

✨️Before we begin, you’ll receive a simple form and a welcome booklet so you feel informed and supported from the start.

✨️Our sessions are one hour, and I use EFT throughout our work together. My approach is intuitive — I listen closely, I tune into what you need, and I hold space for you with compassion, clarity, and zero judgement.

✨️EFT helps you gently release what’s sitting under the surface, calm your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself in a grounded, empowering way.

✨️If you’re ready for a space where you can breathe, be honest, and feel truly heard, I’d love to support you.

✨ ️One of the things my clients love most about EFT is how portable it is.
Once you learn the basics, you can take tapping with you any place, any time, anywhere — no equipment, no special setup, no long routine needed.

Here are some of the ways people use EFT in everyday life:

✨ Finger tapping
A subtle version you can do in meetings, on the school run, or while waiting in the car. No one even notices — but your nervous system does.

✨ Imaginary tapping
If you can’t physically tap, your brain still responds to visualising the tapping points. It’s surprisingly effective and perfect for moments when you need calm without movement.

✨ A 5‑minute reset in the loo
Yes, really. Pop to the toilet, tap through a round or two, breathe, reset, and walk back out feeling grounded and clearer than before.

✨ On‑the‑go emotional first aid
Whether it’s overwhelm, frustration, anxiety, or spiralling thoughts, tapping helps bring your body back into safety so you can think straight again.

✨ A tool you keep for life
Once you’ve learned it, it’s yours. You don’t need me in the room with you — you can use it whenever you need support.

EFT isn’t just a session… it’s a skill you carry with you, ready to use whenever life gets loud.

If you’d like to learn how to use tapping confidently in your day‑to‑day life, I’d love to guide you.

When people come to me for support, they’re usually carrying a mix of things — stress, overwhelm, emotional habits, tired skin, low confidence, or that feeling of being stretched too thin. And over the years, I’ve learned something powerful 💥:

✨️Wellbeing isn’t one‑dimensional.
We feel better when we support both the inside and the outside.

✨️That’s why I blend EFT with Tropic’s ethical, skin‑friendly self‑care rituals. Together, they create a gentle, grounded approach that helps people feel calmer, clearer, and more themselves again.

✨ How EFT supports you:

- Calms the nervous system
- Reduces stress, anxiety, and overwhelm
- Helps break unhelpful emotional patterns
- Supports emotional regulation for adults, teens, and children
- Creates space to breathe, reset, and think clearly

✨ How Tropic 🌿 supports you:

- Nourishes and protects the skin with clean, ethical ingredients
- Encourages daily moments of self‑kindness
- Helps rebuild confidence from the outside in
- Turns skincare into a grounding ritual rather than a chore

When you put them together, something shifts.
You’re not just coping — you’re caring for yourself on every level.

If you’re curious about how EFT or Tropic could support you (or both together), I’m always happy to chat.
