Here are 6 tips for managing stress and helping to prevent feelings of burnout:⠀⠀
⠀⠀
1. If a task seems overwhelming and difficult to start, try breaking it down into easier chunks, and give yourself credit for completing them.⠀⠀
⠀⠀
2. Take time to think about the good things in your life. Each day, consider what went well and try to list 3 things you're thankful for.⠀⠀
⠀⠀
3. Take a break, step back and take time for yourself. If you are able to book some time off work, or keep your days off free to do mindful activities and get some fresh air.⠀
⠀⠀
4. Being active can help you to burn off nervous energy. It will not make your stress disappear, but it can make it less intense.⠀⠀
⠀⠀
5. Trusted friends, family and colleagues, or contacting a helpline, can help us when we are struggling. ⠀
⠀⠀
6. Planning out any upcoming stressful days or events – a to-do list, the journey you need to do, things you need to take – can really help.⠀⠀

⚠️ Despite the government’s recent announcement regarding no longer needing to wear face coverings in public settings from January 27 2022, we will still require you to wear a face covering in all health and social care settings. This applies to all out-patients, staff and visitors, unless they are exempt.

➡️ This will remain in place across all health and social care settings so that our most vulnerable people can continue to safely attend for the advice, care and treatment they need.
