This area relies on borehole wells and principal aquifers for our drinking water. The proposed East Pye Solar site (Island Green Power, owned by Macquarie Asset Management — the same group behind the collapse of Thames Water) poses a very high risk of contamination.

Run-off from industrial solar panel farms threatens to pollute a vital watercourse. We urgently need to employ an independent water expert to defend this objection and safeguard our community’s water supply.
