Yesterday's (later than planned) Lughnasadh Retreat Day was so inspiring. Honouring this transitionary phase between Summer and Autumn, in SabbatSong's morning circle, we sang and expressed our truth through Wild Woman and Water inspired songs and chants - welcoming in the raw and untamed energies that are incoming with the nurturing and care of the outgoing phase. In the Afternoon's Crystal Goddess circle, we shared and discussed our feelings around the Wild Woman archetype and perceptions; played with, explored and attuned to crystals helpful to this time, phase and energy and then expressed and grounded our feelings and insights from meditation in clay. Pure and enchanting magic!

We'll be circling again in September for the Autumn Equinox! Places are limited and nearly full already.

We have crossed the threshold of Lughnasadh (aka Lammas) the first harvest, with its bounteous generosity and are in the first stirrings of Autumnal energy and the waking of the Wild Woman Archetype and the element Water in the West. Water brings us to our emotional depths and shallows, riptides and calm, waves and stillness, surrender and flow.

Astrologers tell us that this week, with a full solar eclipse and Perseid meteor showers, holds opportunities for acceptance and forgiveness - whilst looking outwardly stable, relationships may feel complex, with lots of hidden feelings and unresolved conflict coming to the fore. If consciously approached, this could provide a time for debate, clarity and justice - and provide space for choices about who moves forward with us. All possibilities are available so it is important to be present to ourselves to choose a way ahead which is in alignment with our nature - honouring our Wild. We can choose to leave behind old habits and beliefs and move forward with a renewed energy and purpose, where we put ourselves more at the forefront of our future plans.

This week is packed with circles and opportunities to gather and celebrate in sisterhood, exploring these themes.

🌒 This Thursday 13th August, we will gather online and in person in the Healing Hut for NewMoonDrum, with time to share and feel into what the New Moon energy presents to us.

💜 On Saturday 15th August we have 2 circles, I invite you to join for either or both.

The super nurturing option is join me for SabbatSong in the morning and have a whole day retreat day in Goddess Energy by joining the Crystal Goddess in the afternoon!

🍲Complementary soup will be available for those who choose to stay for both circles and have a full retreat day of seasonal energy!

Wow - another wonderful experience of co-ordinating the Healing Area at Harlequin Fayre. This year I was able to immerse myself in more space and ceremonial holding with my beautiful sisters and Rachel from - an absolute joy and a pleasure - tired and happy 😊

Nature connection and community are a huge part of my deeper, everyday self care - I am so grateful for the beautiful, chalk bed rivers and streams that are a part of our local landscape, in which I am fortunate to swim all year round and these amazing women who share in this adventure.

Noticing the incremental, seasonal shifts; my own responses to them; being with and sharing with likeminded souls; connecting with my body in exercise; the endorphins; the joy of seeing a wide range of wildlife are all such medicine for my soul.

Dear Circle Sister,

With blossom covering trees in abundance it seems, despite the recent frosts, that the May Queen has arrived - Summer is a-stirring!

Since the Spring Equinox the light has been gaining over the darkness and hopefully bringing more energy and motivation to you - What do you need this Summer.

Shall we ask and celebrate this together in circle?
Does it appeal to your soul to be with like-minded women, determined to shake the narrative that constant 'busyness and overworkedness does not serve' and that bringing in moments of rest and reflection, calming our nervous systems is the way forward?

With themes of the emerging summer, fire, Mother/Creatrix, Love, passion, self-care, sacred rage, community, nurturing, inner child and lots more, we sang, chanted, drummed, danced, leapt the fire; laughed (a lot); played with clay; meditated; learned about supportive crystals for Summer/Mother energies; shared food and opened our hearts.
Absolutely yummy!

And we'll be doing this all over again for Summer Solstice! Join us then xx
