A little announcement that I’m really proud of 🤍

I’ll be speaking at CCR 2026 in London as part of an open panel discussion on **Treating Transgender Patients Ethically in Aesthetic Practice**.

This is a subject that means a lot to me, both as a doctor and as someone who wants my own clinic to be a place where people feel genuinely comfortable, respected and understood.

Transgender patients should not have to face barriers in accessing gender affirming care, including aesthetic treatments, and I think there is a really important conversation to be had within our specialty about how we can make that experience better.

The panel will be looking at how we can diversify aesthetics, improve representation and think more carefully about the way we approach and support transgender patients within our practices.

I’m really looking forward to being part of the conversation and sharing some of the experiences I’ve had within my own clinic, as well as listening to the other practitioners on the panel.

What 3 months of the right skincare routine can do 🤩

This lovely lady was struggling with break outs when I met her. We’ve started her on a kit of 4 different products from pHformula, focusing on ingredients that reduce inflammation and gently resurface the skin.

We are also now introducing chemical resurfacing treatments and microneedling. Very excited to see the results in another 3 months 🙌

Something new has arrived at the clinic 🤍

I’m so excited to introduce The Perfect Peel®, a medical grade medium depth peel designed to improve the overall tone, texture and appearance of the skin.

It combines a powerful blend of acids, glutathione, vitamin C and other ingredients to target a range of concerns including pigmentation, sun damage, acne, acne scarring, enlarged pores and fine lines.

What I particularly love is that it can be used across all Fitzpatrick skin types when appropriately assessed and treated, making it a really versatile addition to the clinic.

The treatment itself takes around 15 minutes to apply and there is no need for skin preparation beforehand. There is some downtime while the skin peels, but this is typically less than a week.

You'll also be given an individual homecare kit to support the peeling process and help you get the most from your treatment.

This lovely lady came to see me as she felt her lips had become thinner. She wanted to have more fullness and definition, but still maintaining a natural shape & size. She had never had lip filler before so we discussed this as an option and together decided to go ahead with the treatment.

She also described that top lip tucked under when she smiled, so we combined the filler with a ‘lip flip’ using toxin (these little bumps above the top lip from the toxin injections will disappear within hours and the full result will develop over the next 2 weeks).

Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to attend Hosted Aesthetics in Malta, and it was such a valuable
experience ✨

Running a clinic can sometimes feel quite solitary, so it was incredibly refreshing to spend time surrounded by other clinic owners, sharing ideas, experiences and challenges in such a
supportive environment.

The event gave me dedicated time to step back from the day to day running of the clinic and think about the bigger picture. I had some really meaningful conversations with suppliers,
discovered exciting innovations within the industry and came away with lots of inspiration for the future.

One of the things I love most about aesthetics is that there is always something new to learn. I’m constantly looking for ways to improve the patient experience and bring the very best
treatments, technologies and knowledge back to the clinic.

I’ve returned home with plenty of ideas, lots of motivation and a few exciting things already in the pipeline 👀

Last month I had the amazing opportunity to speak on a national stage for the first time. A big thank you to for creating this opportunity through his New Blood stage at and giving me a chance to speak about my biggest passion. I (unsurprisingly!) used this space to speak about the importance of gender affirming care within medical aesthetics; a topic I will continue to push to raise awareness for. I hope this is the first of many opportunities to come where I can speak about improving inclusivity and accessibility within aesthetics. Sending love to all my LGBTQIA+ patients who place their trust in me 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Lip flip or lip filler?

This is one of the common questions I get asked, and although both treatments focus on the lips, they work in very different ways.

A lip flip uses small amounts of anti-wrinkle treatment to gently relax the upper lip, creating a subtle outward “flip” when you smile. It does not add volume, which makes it a lovely option for those wanting a very natural enhancement.

Lip filler, on the other hand, is designed to add shape, definition and volume. This can be tailored to be very subtle or a little more noticeable, depending on your goals.

For some patients, combining the two treatments can work beautifully together, while still keeping results soft and balanced.

As always, the best treatment depends entirely on your individual anatomy, concerns and what feels right for you. Consultations are always tailored and pressure free, with a focus on creating natural results that still feel like you. 🤍

If I had £500 to invest into my skin, this is what I would do...

The best results usually come from building strong foundations first and choosing treatments that support your skin in a balanced, long term way.

If you are new to aesthetics or skincare, starting with a good routine, consistent SPF and treatments like micro-needling can make a huge difference to skin texture, brightness and overall skin health.

If you are looking for something a little more advanced, combining anti-wrinkle injections with treatments that improve skin quality, such as skin boosters or polynucleotides, can work beautifully together.

Everyone’s skin, goals and priorities are different, which is why treatments should always be tailored to you rather than following trends.

Red light therapy is everywhere at the moment, but is it actually worth it?

When used properly, it can be a really effective way to support skin health. Treatments like Dermalux LED work by delivering specific wavelengths of light into the skin, helping to calm inflammation, support healing and improve overall skin function.

It’s especially useful for concerns like acne, redness, sensitivity or as part of your recovery after other treatments. It’s also a very gentle option, which makes it suitable for a wide range of skin types and safe during pregnancy.
