FAQ Tuesday: Do I also treat adults?

Yes - I do.

Although much of my work focuses on babies, children and infant feeding, osteopathic principles can be applied at every age and stage of life.

Babies can hold tension.
Children can hold tension.
Adults can hold tension too.

The way I work may look different depending on who is on the treatment couch, yet the principles remain the same: looking at the body as a whole, understanding how everything connects, and supporting the body to move and function as well as possible.

So whether you’re bringing your baby in for feeding-related support or you’re wondering if osteopathy could support you too - you’re very welcome here.

Just 1 appointment left before our summer break

Our combined Osteopathy + breastfeeding support clinic has one space remaining before we pause for 3 weeks over the summer.

This clinic is for families who would love joined-up support with:
- Feeding difficulties
- Latch, positioning or comfort
- Tension patterns that may be affecting feeding
- Reassurance, guidance and a non-judgemental space to talk things through

You’ll have both osteopathic and infant feeding support in one appointment, helping us look at the bigger picture and support you and your baby in a calm, evidence-informed way.

If feeding has been feeling harder than you hoped, or you’d simply like some support before the summer break, this is your chance to book in.

Final space available
Then we’ll be taking a 3-week summer pause

DM us “FEEDING” or use the booking link on our bios to reserve the last spot.

We’d love to support you

POV: Netflix calls and asks me to explain why babies who “hold their heads up from birth” aren’t actually strong 👀
And yes… this is my first time jumping on a trend 😅
What looks like strength in a newborn is often something very different - and understanding that can completely change how we support feeding, development, and comfort in those early weeks.
If you’ve ever been told your baby is “so strong” from day one, this is for you

Final few spaces remaining

Only 6 combined appointments left before we close for a short summer break.

Back from 26th August - so if your baby is struggling with feeding or you’ve been meaning to come in, don’t wait.

If you’ve been trying to book in and noticed my diary is looking very full… you’re not alone
Over the past few weeks, I’ve had a growing waitlist - for both little ones needing feeding support and adults dealing with pain or discomfort. And I know how important it is to be seen sooner rather than later.

So, I’ve opened up a limited number of Saturday appointments across the summer holidays

These are here to help reduce wait times and make sure babies, children, and adults can access support when they need it most.

If you’ve been waiting, this is your chance to get booked in sooner.

Pop me a message or head to the booking link to secure a space

There’s nothing more important than feeling safe, heard, and supported when it comes to your baby

One of the things I care most about in clinic is creating a calm, open space where you never feel rushed - where feeding, changing, and your baby’s needs always come first. Every step of treatment is explained clearly, so you feel confident and empowered throughout.

Hearing feedback like this reminds me why I do what I do - supporting you and your little one with gentle, evidence-based care.

If you’ve been wondering whether paediatric osteopathy could help your baby, you’re always welcome to reach out and ask questions - no pressure, just support

FAQ Tuesdays - What do I do if your next appointment is too far away? If you’ve looked to book in and my next appointment feels too far away, you’re not stuck 🤍

Here’s what to do:

- Add yourself to the cancellation list
Appointments do shift, and families are often seen sooner this way.

- Consider a combined appointment
If you’re breastfeeding and looking for osteopathy support, these sessions often have earlier availability and can give you more comprehensive support in one visit.

I know how important it is to get help when something doesn’t feel right, especially in those early weeks. You don’t have to wait without options.

If you’re unsure which appointment is right for you, just send me a message and I’ll guide you

FAQ Tuesday
“Can you help fix my baby’s flat head?”

Short answer: yes… and also, it’s not just about the head.

As osteopaths, we’re not only looking at the shape - we’re looking at why it’s happening in the first place.

Often, there’s an underlying reason your baby prefers to turn their head one way… usually linked to how their neck muscles are functioning.

So rather than just chasing the symptom, we gently assess and support the root cause - helping your baby move more freely, feel more comfortable, and reduce that pressure on one side over time.

Every baby is different, and there’s no judgement here - just support, guidance, and a plan that works for you and your little one

If this is something you’ve been worried about, you’re not alone. Feel free to drop me a message or ask a question below

his week in clinic, I’ve supported babies, children, and adults with a range of different presentations - and no two bodies are ever the same 🤍

From feeding challenges and unsettled little ones, to adults holding long-term tension, discomfort, or stress in their bodies… every person who comes through the door is looking for the same thing: to feel better, and to be understood.

Behind every “diagnosis” is a story, and my role isn’t just to treat - it’s to listen, guide, and help you make sense of what’s going on in a way that feels calm and empowering.

Whether you’re worried about your baby, your child, or something you’ve been carrying yourself - your concerns are always valid.

If you’ve been wondering whether something is worth getting checked… this is your sign that you’re not overthinking it

You’re always welcome to reach out or book in for a chat.

Keeping things as normal as possible over here ☀️

I’ve had a few questions about whether I’ll be open during the heatwave - so here’s the plan:

As long as schools and nurseries are open, I’ll be here in clinic too.

I know how important consistency is when you’ve got little ones - especially if you’re navigating feeding challenges or discomfort. So unless things change at a wider level, your appointments can go ahead as planned.

If anything does shift, I’ll always keep you updated as soon as possible.

In the meantime - stay cool, keep hydrated, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re unsure about anything ❤️
