If you are struggling to get a Lipoedema diagnosis do head to Talk Lipoedema where they have good resources to help you.

We have pages on our website dedicated to guiding you through a diagnosis of lipoedema. As a UK charity, we want to see GPs recognising lipoedema as a familiar condition.

Head to www.talklipoedema.org/diagnosis to see our information and helpful downloads on diagnosing lipoedema.

Researchers at City St George's, University of London, invite adults with Lipedema to complete a 10-15 minute anonymous survey about their experiences using GLP-1/GIP weight-loss injections.

You may be eligible if you are 18 or older, have clinician-diagnosed or self-diagnosed Lipedema, and have used a GLP-1/GIP weight-loss injection for at least 3 months, with your last dose taken within the past 12 months.

Please note that these medications are not currently licensed to treat Lipedema, and this study does not promote their use.

MLD is a specialist treatment that requires extensive training and qualification to practice. If the treatment you're receiving does not check off these criteria, its perhaps time to check the MLDUK therapist register.
