Purely Care provides live-in care workers to care and support elderly and disabled people to remain living in their own homes. All our staff are DBS checked and fully trained. We are also an accredited care provider for Norfolk County Council, Suffolk County Council and Essex County Council.

One question worth asking any care provider: "How do you help your carers keep learning?

This week we celebrated Kudzai completing a Level 3 apprenticeship as a Lead Adult Care, achieved through months of study alongside caring for clients.

Ongoing training means a carer can spot small changes early, adapt as needs change, and support your relative with confidence.
Congratulations, Kudzai. We are very proud of you.

🌙 Where were you when they walked on the Moon?

It's World Space Week, so we're looking back to July 1969. Here in Britain, Neil Armstrong took that first small step at four minutes to four in the morning. Did you stay up all night around a black and white telly? Or did your mum and dad wake you up to watch?

Twelve men walked on the Moon between 1969 and 1972. Four are still with us today:
🚀 Buzz Aldrin, 96
🚀 David Scott, 94
🚀 Charlie Duke, 91
🚀 Harrison Schmitt, 91

And this April, astronauts flew around the Moon again for the first time in more than 50 years.
Carers, this is a lovely one to ask today. Almost everyone who was around in 1969 remembers exactly where they were.

Purely Care are seeking reliable and friendly people to work as carers in the community. We currently have a vacancy in Costessey working

7am to 2pm. Days to be arranged.

Some weekend work will be required.

Purely Care provide care in the community for elderly and disabled people in Norwich.

We visit people at home, do a short visit and then travel to the next client.

What we need from you:

Caring and kind nature

Willingness to learn

Good time keeping

Good spoken and written English

Able to maintain a conversation

Home cooking skills

Access to your own transport ( moped, car or push bike)

Must live within 10 minutes drive of Norwich

Duties:

Assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting

Assisting with medication

Meal preparation

Light housework
