We offer both permanent and respite care, in a beautifully peaceful countryside setting. We believe in encouraging freedom of choice and offering residents as much independence as possible while treating them with respect, privacy, and dignity. Friends and family are welcome at any time of day, with hot drinks and snacks available from our lovely cafe. The Badgers Wood kitchen team create varied nutritious menus using seasonal produce, that cater for all tastes and dietary requirements. Residents can also enjoy some pampering and relaxation in our on-site hair and nail salons. There is plenty going on at Badgers Wood Care Home, with a dedicated Social Care Lead hosting and co-ordinating a full program of events and entertainment. As well as arts and crafts, movie mornings, and where possible, trips out to the local area, we often hold intergenerational activities. These friendly sessions invite local children and their families to join residents for cupcake decorating, junk modelling, and a sports day in the summer.
