How we think about pain matters.
For years we’ve been taught that pain automatically means damage. That if something hurts, something must be broken.
what if that’s not always true?
What if pain is your body’s way of asking for attention rather than sounding an alarm?
One of the biggest shifts I see in clinic isn’t just when someone’s body starts moving better, it’s when they start seeing their pain differently.
Because when we stop fearing every ache, every flare-up, and every setback, we often find ourselves moving more, worrying less, and regaining confidence in what our bodies can do.
The story we tell ourselves about pain can either keep us stuck or help us move forward.
So here’s a question for you:
What’s something in your life that changed when you looked at it from a different perspective?
“When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change.”
