I teach yoga, relaxation and mindfulness techniques both to groups and individuals. I began practising yoga around 1998 in Lublin,Poland, where
I studied psychology at the local university. My first teacher, Leszek Mioduchowski, was trained in Iyengar yoga. Leszek’s teachings are still source of inspiration for me. In 2005 I came to live in the UK, where I have continued my yoga practice, discove
ring different yoga traditions. In 2009 I became a member of the British Wheel of Yoga, and I completed BWY training course for yoga teachers. I have been teaching yoga since 2009, running weekly classes, day long workshops and weekend retreats. I also teach yoga on meditation retreats in Poland and the UK. I have been practicing meditation with the Triratna Buddhist Community since 2006. Yoga, for me, is a practice of developing awareness. Having a professional background in psychology, both enriches my yoga practice and gives me a deeper understanding of the role of relaxation and mindfulness in encouraging positive mental states. My yoga classes include relaxation and yoga postures to balance the mind and the body. Some workshops include meditation and mindfulness techniques.
