Ever feel as though you’ve done so much healing and gained so much awareness and yet it still feels as though something is missing?

This particular healing message is about the importance of being forgiving towards yourself and the parts within you that have been holding onto old wounds and feelings from a time which was really hurtful for you to process and deal with.

Sometimes we have to go back to the past and retrieve parts of ourselves that have been forgotten about. The parts of ourselves that hold deep feelings that never had the opportunity to unburden or express how they felt. The parts of ourselves that we have rejected or overlooked for whatever reason.

Giving yourself the time to just be with you and allow the parts of you the grace of space to resurface and reconnect - is such a powerful way to fully let go and allow any forgiving of each other to take place.

As we integrate more of ourselves our hearts become fuller and the need to protect ourselves becomes less as we move forward more in alignment with our truest version of self.

What if going back isn’t always about having to re-experience any misery, what if it’s about re-integrating a part of your magic? An integral part of you ❤️

Just a sweet reminder to kick start the week that not everything that you feel, sense or think belongs to you 🥰

So next time you feel out of sorts or your thoughts and energy just feels a bit wonky - just check in with yourself...
Is this mine?
Has this got anything to do with me?
Is this something that I'm just aware of?
Or whatever words come to mind!

Usually you'll feel a sense of space around you when you ask these kind of questions - which means it's NOT yours ❤️

You are just aware of and perceiving it.

Just because we have history's of feeling a certain way - doesn't mean that every sensation that is similar has anything to do with you. AND more importantly you certainly don't have to add it to your load.

Checking in with yourself - rather than taking on the load for someone or something else - not only keeps you feeling a lot more lighter - it also elevates your intuition, your personal boundaries and is an act of self love and self care.

When we get triggered and our nervous systems get activated it’s not always easy to stay cool, calm and collected is it? 🙃

It’s easy to want to fight, flight or freeze!
None are wrong by the way. They are ways which we have learned to survive and to protect ourselves from not wanting to revisit an experience or feel the accumulation of feelings and sensations that have arisen in that very moment.

Triggers gift you the opportunity to free yourself from where you are still limiting how and where you show up in your life. Where parts of you still feel fearful, vulnerable, unloved and unsafe.

They show you where your body is still holding onto old information, memories and emotions.

They show you where the parts within you need to be heard, seen, unburdened and integrated. Where we are stuck in time.

They show you where you are not comfortable with being able to fully feel.

They show you where you are rejecting parts of yourself that perhaps you don't like.

They show you where you are not feeling in control or feel that you 'have to'.

As uncomfortable as it is, it really is an opportunity to make peace within yourself and your body.

What if what triggers you is an opportunity for you to get to know yourself, love yourself and integrate even more of yourself way more deeply than ever before ❤️
and what if by doing that - you never have to abandon any part of you or give your power away to anything external to you ever again 🥰

A great question you can ask yourself for self exploration is
‘What am I still trying to protect myself from?’
