Designed specifically for case managers, the series will cover:

Productivity is often misunderstood. It’s not about doing more tasks, working longer hours, or being constantly available. It is about protecting your focus, managing your energy, and making sure the important work gets done well.

Andrew Rose recently shared his thoughts on productivity during a workshop delivered for EMG Solicitors in Newcastle. Drawing on the experience of AKA Case Management and Social Return Case Management, he explored practical strategies to help professionals in the sector work smarter, not harder.

Are you looking for a new role? We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients.

Job Title: Waking Night Support
Location: Sutton Coldfield

We are looking for experienced Paediatric support workers who are reliable, flexible, and motivated individuals to work with our client. Providing 1-to-1 and 2-to-1 support within the family home.

You will be working with a 5-year-old non-verbal female client with no voluntary movement who enjoys music, Barbies, sensory engagement, switch toys and her fluffy pets, hamsters and kittens. The client has complex care needs; although an NG tube is in place, this is only for hydration and medication administration. The client is fed a pureed diet orally from a spoon, as instructed by the private speech and language therapist; a dietitian is in place.

The client is reliant on support for transfers, engagement and all activities of daily living. Due to personal care support, the family have requested female candidates only, with experience in paediatric complex care.

The Brain Injury Action Plan has still not been published, despite being promised since 2021.

As a case management organisation supporting people with acquired brain injury, we know how important joined-up services and long-term support are for individuals and their families.

That is why we are supporting UKABIF's call for the Government to .

Brain injury is the leading cause of death and disability for people under 40 in the UK. A national Action Plan is urgently needed to improve care, rehabilitation and outcomes.

Please take a moment to sign the open letter to the Health Secretary before Parliament breaks for recess on 16 July and help spread the message by sharing this post. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScNQMi_me0-aIZk9uCkeve1OlvZOA9SDmX9iCw7sSkMszRemw/viewform

Together, we can help ensure that acquired brain injury remains firmly on the agenda.

We are proud to support Broadway Wanderers and were delighted that Elaine had the honour of collecting a trophy on behalf of AKA Case Management in recognition of our sponsorship and support throughout the season.

It's been fantastic to see the team enjoy such a successful year. From competing in the ESF Football Tournament and receiving awards from Jermaine Defoe, to being crowned league cup winners, the boys have had a brilliant season and have made everyone involved incredibly proud.

Congratulations to all the players, coaches and families. We are pleased to have played a small part in supporting their journey. ⚽🏆
